The Budget website is very easy to navigate and make reservations. The modification / cancellation process is smooth. Discounts and upgrades are also often available....but the main reason I stick with Budget is because of Sam and Fred, the proprietors of the Clinton Hwy. location in Knoxville, TN. They are super efficient and always courteous. The cars I get from them are always clean and fully functional. The wait times there when checking in or out are always minimal. I have been doing business with them for over 15 years and can say from experience that you can't go wrong when you work with these guys!

Had a phenomenal experience at this location with prompt and polite service from Sam and his colleague. I found the quality of the car and the service of the location to be of great value and would recommend them— I don’t always have this great of luck with rental car places and I was really happy with my choice!

Avis & Budget car Rental has the best rental service.I have been a customer with this company since 2004.This location is perfect for renting cars for weekends getaway and family vacation.

Rented an SUV in Knoxville, TN and returned the Car to the Nashville, TN airport. Very smooth process with no hassle and good customer service. The price was also better than the competition. Very happy with the experience.

Worst experience possible trying to rent a car! Planned a trip and had a reservation for two months. Arrived at my destination late the night before my scheduled pickup. I woke up and realized I would be an hour late to pickup based on my reservation. I called the local location number. It rang and rang. Eventually, I was transferred to the 1-800 customer service line. I explained my situation and was told that it was no problem, that as long as I arrived before the location closed, then it would be no problem. So, I went to pick up my rental. The attendant was a total jerk with zero social skills. He told me I “should have called and he gave my car away.” When I explained that I DID call, he finally decided he would go ahead and rent me a “small suv.” Upon running my debit card, though there was more than enough money in the bank, he refused to rent. I went on down to Enterprise and was treated like a king… with no reservation. I woke up this morning to an email from Budget, stating they had fraudulently charged me $50 for not canceling within 24 hours. FRAUD!!! They cancelled! I will never do business nor recommend Budget to anyone. Just another corporation walking all over its consumers. Sad that AARP allows them to advertise with them. The way they take advantage of seniors and the disabled.

This is the worst location me and my wife ever went to! I’ve rent from all different companies but this Budget Rental location is terrible. We arrived to pick up our rental car and got into the car and started down the road and as soon as we hit the highway we heard this rattling noise coming from somewhere in the door panel. That’s not the main reason… we realized the day before drop off that we wouldn’t be able to make the drop off time so we called them and the guy that answered said “You will be charged another day and to bring it in the next morning”. Okay so what he said I understand and it makes sense. Well we dropped it off the next morning the guy says “Oh I was here till 4pm” My thing is.. 1.) You should have told us all this before. 2.) Fix the rattling in the door. 3.) The car wasn’t that clean.

They have horrible communicated. I opt to do everything online even the verification and get there and they give me nothing but issues so I go to cancel and they say I will be charged 150 when the rental car was 45 for one day! I made the reservation through my work discount program 2hrs before. They have been the worst people I've ever delt with!

Returned a rental car with crack in windshield. I informed the manager that I will handle the claim through my insurance and provided my policy info. Budget “fixed” the vehicle and then sent me a $630.00 bill. For a windshield!They tried to charge a “calibration fee” of $255 as well. Stay away from this place. The guy who checked the car out to me wouldn’t even acknowledge the damage I tried pointing out during pickup. Seems like they do this a lot. Be warned!

The staff at Budget were kind, friendly, and so helpful. I previously rented from Enterprise and drove over an hour to utilize this Budget and will do so from now on when I need to rent a car. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes picking up the car and dropping it off. The staff called me “friend” and treated me with respect as if I was a valued customer.

Transaction/ income based customer service and business practice transparency. Staff member at counter was not transparent with credit/debit card procedures prior to and at conclusion of rental. That also tried to sell me up on insurance and told me a lesser amount/coverage until I showed him it was printed on the contract!

Brothers Sam and Fred are pleasant and professional. The 12 passenger van I rented was very clean and in great shape. Pick up and drop off of the vehicles was an easy process and completed in a timely manner. I would rent from them again.

We had a contract and agreed to a price. We brought the car back and all of a sudden we are being charged 300 dollars more. No explanation other than "the rates have changed since then"... no we agreed to a price and the car was returned in perfect condition.
