Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They are terrible. Absolute joke of a pharmacy

Went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription after surgery. They provided us with 1 of 5. Tried to call later and was on hold for about 15minutes trying to get someone on the phone.

I have always had a great experience at the Fountain City CVS pharmacy and with its staff. Because of my respect and appreciation for what they do, I always greet any customer service worker I encounter at any store or restaurant by asking, "How are you?" Anna at the register said nothing and looked at me with a blank stare. I asked again with the same result. I then said hello to the others working there. They greeted me. I tried again with Anna to no avail and then asked, "So you just aren't friendly then...?" She shook her head indicating that she was not. She did get my items, and for that I was grateful. I told her that I understood her job was not easy, but a smile and answering a greeting are. I told the pharmacist (Jamie) that I looked forward to doing this survey. She told me in a somewhat sarcastic tone that she looked forward to following up with me. To Jamie's credit, she has always treated me respectfully and been nice to me in the past. I was surprised by her reaction to say the least. Please understand that I am absolutely no one special, nor do I expect to be treated as though I am some elite customer. I am no better than any customer who comes through your doors, but I do think common courtesy should be afforded to each and every person you serve.I know that one person and their prescriptions make little or no difference to your corporation, but please note that some of my prescriptions are already at a Food City closer to my home only for considerably lower cost reasons. I have kept my remaining prescriptions (some at a slightly higher cost) at this CVS simply because of how much I have enjoyed the staff. If Anna is a reflection of the future of that pharmacy, I will consider moving all of my prescriptions to Food City. I taught customer service classes for more than 20 years including an emphasis on the importance of word choice, voice inflection, and body language and how those affect conversation and the outcome of interactions. As such I am always on the lookout for good stories to tell my classes. I have often used this store for such stories of excellence. I now have a story to the contrary. I'll not use the CVS name, but if asked, I won't lie. Perhaps with my background I am hypersensitive to customer service, but I feel I am speaking for the dissatisfied non-vocal persons who will not speak for themselves.

Jamie is beyond wonderful. She remembers the whole family and always takes time for questions, especially coverage issues.

We've never had to use a CVS pharmacy before. Arrived at this location at 8:17 after leaving urgent care. The staff in the back told us through the closed windows that they were closed. We told them that we had just left urgent care with a prescription for our daughter and asked what we could do. They told us the Powell location was 24 hours and that they would be able to pull our daughters prescription over and fill it. So we drove to Powell, complete opposite direction of where we live. When we arrived and told them the Broadway location sent us and told us the Powell location would be able to fill our prescription. The Powell location informed us the Broadway location \\\"lied\\\" to us as Powell couldn't pull the prescription over from Broadway because Broadway hadn't put our daughter in the system at all. Very disappointed.

No idea what that other chap's problem is. Yeah the front door was under construction for a while. Didn't affect the service. The repairs were extensive. They're finished now and look nice. The cashiers always greet me and the pharmacy staff has gone above and beyond helping me. I am in this business weekly and have never had a bad experience. It's actually the best pharmacy I've used in the Fountain City and Powell area.
