They did an amazing job at installing a new watch band on my smart watch and have just a phenomenal selection of after market metal bands. The guy to helped us was knowledgeable and very professional. Would absolutely recommend if you don't like the factory rubber watch bands that come with your watch.

I was referred here by my local jeweler to get two watch batteries replaced. The individual felt confident that she could replace the batteries and wasn't sure why I was turned away at my local jeweler. She began by conducting a pressure test and both watches initially passed. She then took off the backing off of the watches and scratched one watch while taking off the back. At this point I began to get really nervous. Considering she already had the backs off and I figured it couldn't get any worse. After replacing the batteries, she did a pressure test again and this time both watches failed. I've had these batteries changed a few times with different comapnies and haven't had any issues. BE VERY CAREFUL, if you choose to get things repaired here. Was offered an "oops" discount, but it wasn't adequate in regards to the damage.

Replaced my watch crystal and it fell off the next day. Not realizing this, I continued to wear the watch and the second hand got bent. Said that the company MIGHT be able to fix it after a 6 to 8 week wait. Very disappointing. After communicating with customer service rep, I finally agreed to bring my watch to the local Dakota Watch store so they could send it back to the factory for repair.Update!! I finally agreed to have Dakota watch repair the watch that they damaged, expecting a 6 to 8 week wait. Well, I called today after 2 months of waiting and found that the local store HAD NOT EVEN SENT MY WATCH BACK TO THE FACTORY FOR REPAIR! Unbelievable.

Worst shopping experience. This is why brick and mortar is going away. First the lady at the counter could not say if they would extend their standard 30 day return policy to cover Christmas. Then when I told her I would go ahead and buy it but check in with management next day, she became rude and said not to buy it then she that she had other customers and left to see them. I was left with credit card in my hand completely shocked at the rude treatment. Completely wasted my time and energy shopping here.

I have been using the West Town mall location for years to replace watch batteries. Today I experienced the worst customer service from an extremely rude employee who claimed to be the manager. First of all, he couldn’t stop playing on his phone long enough to answer my questions about battery replacement. He refused to honor a coupon because he had already told me the price. This makes no sense!! You either honor a coupon or not. This employee was so unbelievably rude and I am still in shock at his lack of social skills required for retail. It is disappointing that an employee with such a horrible attitude and lack of communication skills is representing this company.. I wish I could rate 0 stars.

My family has been coming here for years. We needed a watch battery changed but decided to buy two watches instead. When we came to the kiosk the attendant was out for lunch. We patiently waited and went back when the sign said she would return. When the employee was at the kiosk she was not wearing a mask. She had her small baby behind the counter, crying. When asked if she could please wear a mask she refused.Terrible experience, never going back again.

Honestly this was not my first choice for battery replacement - but Leslie was so excellent that Dakota in West Town will be my first choice from now on! Not only did they have a better price and quick service she also miraculously removed the scratches from my crystal as a courtesy. Bravo!

I needed some links taken out of my watch so I stopped by the kiosk in West Town. I was greeted by Kitty and asked what I needed. She was like a breath of fresh air. During the Christmas season the malls are packed and people are sometimes in a hurry trying to wait on you. Kitty treated me as if I was her only customer. I will return to see her when I have any watch needs or repairs!

Where to begin. I stopped by the kiosk in West Towne Mall in March 2018 to get a battery replaced for my Fossil. While there, I noticed they offered watch cleanings as well so I threw that in as well since it would only take an extra 15 minutes. After paying and walking away, I realized that the watch was not functioning correctly. I go back to the kiosk and ask them what is wrong and they do not tell me much except that they will repair it and call me back shortly.A week goes by and I call back to get an update (I was not given a time frame). Still not ready. Wait another 2 weeks to call back. Not ready. Call back again in late April, not ready. Finally I decide that I'll just wait for them to call me. The call never comes.I finally had time to go back last week and check on the status in person. There are diff staff members who I don't recognize working there so I go up to the kiosk and wait for an employee. A woman working there finishes with another customer, glances at me, and then turns away, as I'm standing there obviously waiting for someone's help. I initiate the conversation myself since it appears she will not take the initiative--and I begin to explain my predicament including the description of the watch. She digs through some containers and finds a matching watch, unbagged and without a work order slip; despite me describing the watch perfectly, she refuses to give it to me because there is no name attached to it. Then she turns away and begins working on a watch, expecting me to be happy with them refusing to give me my watch back and hoping I'd walk away after that. So that's it? By that logic, the watch would sit there forever, never to be claimed by anyone. I'm supposed to just let them take my watch because they improperly stored it? Another employee finally steps in and tells me he will make this right. I leave without my watch, again waiting for them to get back in touch with me.I get a call next week (which is this week) saying that they sorted out the details and know that the Fossil was my watch. The problem--according to the caller--was that there was not a battery inside. Which does not sound correct because I remember my watch attempting to work but the dials were stuck and not moving correctly. Then he told me I can pick my watch up AFTER paying for the battery--I corrected him and told him I already had paid for a new battery which was the entire reason why I came into Dakota Watch in the first place.I get another phone call later in the same day from the same person. It turns out he didn't even try to put a battery back in before calling me and telling me the battery was the issue--it wasn't. Something was still broken on the watch and they'd need to send it in for a repair which could take another 6-8 weeks. I told him to forget it and I'd be getting my watch back. And after I get my watch back, I find the side dial is now broken too--it just slides right out and doesn't move anything on the watch anymore.Absolutely pathetic customer service and absolutely pathetic service in general. Not only did they treat me like garbage, they couldn't even do the 1 job they promised me they could. So to sumnmarize, I paid $15 for them to NOT replace my battery, further break my watch, hold onto my watch for 11 months, and also to waste hours of my time driving back and forth. Great deal!

Very nice lady (Susan) I think, changed the battery in my watch and cleaned it making it look great! Such a great customer service experience I bought a Dakota watch which Susan took the time to explain every function on the watch. Normally I would not be buying a watch from a Kiosk but Susan did such a good job not only with me but a elderly customer that was there at the same time. Ill be back for sure!

The lady there on November 18th could not open a Seiko watch. She told me she could do it and then she looked at me after she had it 10 mins and said this is hard. 2 minutes later she looked at me handed it back, and said my Manager do it Tomorrow and said nothing else. She just took it for granted I could drive all the way back from east Knoxville tomorrow. Very rude. Very unknowlegable. Will not go back. What a shame.
