The art here is always eclectic, wide range of mediums, themes and techniques. The quality is talented amateur to professional. Most of it is available for sale in a wide range of prices. The gallery itself is a beautiful space with neat architecture--there are ópen spaces to small rooms and a stairwell and display case. The art is always changing from month to month.

We had my daughter's wedding reception at the Emporium and it was a wonderful experience! From day one, Suzanne was so extremely helpful and pleasant to work with through our changes. We chose the Emporium because they allowed us to plan everything the way we wanted (not their list of vendors) and this helped tremendously with our budget. It is a beautiful place that requires very little decoration. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We could have spent more money but I can promise you that would not have bought a more special evening!

The set up went very smooth. I was able to park up front and Suzanne helped me with navigating the display case. There were pedestals available to use. The lighting in the case was perfect for displaying my work. My only issue was the heat from the window. It was difficult for viewers to stand on that side of the case and look at the artwork because of the heat. May some type of fan can be installed overhead towards the side to offset the heat situation during summer months. The other thing was the ramp to the elevator needs to be highlighted better so that visitors don't trip on it. When you are looking at the exhibit you are not necessarily looking down. All in all it was a great experience for me and I would love to exhibit there again. Suzanne is a wonderful person to work with and makes it easy to setup your exhibition.

The Emporium Center is a phenomenal gallery. They curate beautiful exhibits that really showcase the artist and their work. As an artist, I know that everything down to the piece spacing and lighting was exceptionally done. I highly recommend artists apply for shows there. I definitely recommend visitors and art patrons go see their ongoing spectacular shows held in this massive and stunning space!

The folks at the Emporium made our wedding experience as stress free as they could. They were communicative, organized, accommodating, and kind. The director, Suzanne, was fantastic to work with, and the space is GORGEOUS. It gave such a light and enchanting feel to our big day, and we couldn’t be happier. HIGHLY recommend for any event!

LOVE the Emporium Center! We have had a few events there and it's a beautiful venue. The art and lights definitely add to the aesthetic. We have always had a great experience working with Suzanne. She is always takes good care of us. We've also had the same attendant each time (I apologize for not remembering her name) and she is always very helpful and available when we need anything. If you're looking for a place to host an event, this is the place!

I've come to several private events, and was a member of a community art program that was housed at the Emporium. I always have a grand time because it's my mission to LIVE LIFE LIKE IM A PIECE OF ARTWORK.However, I'm ALWAYS inconvenienced when I come here. As someone who has progressively lost mobility, it's like going on a SPY MISSION just to enter the lower level of this establishment. A disabled person is never able to independently transfer from the upper or lower levels without an employee. Then there's the wait to find it and get an employee. There's no proper signage giving disabled patrons instructions. The office is inaccessible so you have to yell to get assistance if you are by yourself. In order to get to the bottom level you must go back outside, traverse around to the far right back side of the building to re-enter. But you must have a code to enter, then you must calm your Spidey Senses as you wind through hallways that lead you to an elevator. Once you get to the bottom floor, then you need a key to get into the Emporium lower level. You never want to go "back up to Earth's surface" without an employee. TRUST ME, I've gotten trapped & unable to re-enter after I left my phone ? Which also means you have to get some else to go to the 2nd floor to request an employee to escort you out. Then there's the bathroom situation. It's great for disabled people. However; inconsiderate, lazy and inebriated guests use the only accessible bathroom verse climbing up to the 3rd level restrooms.

So happy that Knoxville has a super supportive and growing arts district. The emporium is a very large space that houses dozens of artists, personal studios as well as display spaces. On first Fridays. They always have live music and it's always such a treat to be able to go out with friends or with my partner and enjoy a wonderful evening with the arts. And I always managed to buy at least one thing even if it's small. Because artists need support. We need to support artists more.

I’ve also attended a wedding that was held here and it was the most gorgeous wedding ever!! Being able to walk around and enjoy the art before the ceremony was awesome! Love the Emporium<3

The Emporium Center has been hitting it out of the ballpark all summer. The textiles and ceramics exhibits were amazing. I’m in love with Karen Bills’ felted statues! And the paintings upstairs for September’s First Friday show are stunning. Bravo!
