When you first walk in the building there is no sign directing where to go for the restaurant. We stood there until another customer came down the steps, and we asked him where we could go to be seated. He informed us that we are supposed to go upstairs. It was a little annoying, but nothing we couldn’t look past because we were excited about trying this restaurant for the first time. When we first got seated, we looked around and noticed that the atmosphere looked nice and promising. My husband and I decided to try some of their Irish dishes. My husband ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered the shepherds pie. Before ordering we went to Google reviews to look at the photos that have been shared of the different dishes to help us make a decision. One of the things I really liked that I seen in the photos of the shepherds pie is that it had melted shredded cheese on the top that had been browned. The food came out extremely fast. but, upon looking at my shepherds pie, I realized that it did not have any cheese. It was just the mashed potatoes, and they had not even been browned at all. We finally waved someone down to get some help because our waiter did not return after we received our food. We informed them that the shepherds pie did not have cheese on it and they said they would take it back and put some on for me. No apologies. No big deal until…my dish came back out a few minutes later with… a slice of cheese that had been torn by hand and not melted or browned at all. (see picture) we showed this to our server but he acted like it was no big deal and that cheese wasn’t even supposed to be on the shepherds pie but that wasn’t true. We asked if I could order something else so he said yes and I ordered the bangers and mash. Which was OK, nothing special for two sausages and a small amount of mashed potatoes for $18. The waiter never apologized or offered any type of discount because by the time I received my food, my husband was already completely done. That’s how long it took. I would NOT recommend this place.

We kind of like this place. The food and atmosphere is always excellent but unfortunately the service is always pretty bad. Last time we have waited already sitting like minimum 15 minutes before somebody even bothered to ask as what we want. The time before we were there was New Year Eve. Same thing. We came to celebrate and the waiter was forcing us to pay even we told her we are staying after midnight. If the service is better it would be one of the best places in Knoxville

This place used to be one of our favorites but the service has just kept going down hill. Last time in they acted like they were doing us a favor to wait on us.

Great place, atmosphere and staff. Abby is an amazing bartender, best in Knoxville. The General Manager Hannah is super friendly and helpful in booking our next party. Will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful dinner Tuesday sat Finn's. Food is always good, have had Shepard's pie, Crab Cakes, Filet, Lamb chop and Cod Fish sandwich. Last night our server was Geniese and she was attentive and friendly. My husband and I shared the carrot cake, which is not always on the menu and it was delicious! The carrots cake needs to become a daily item!

Jenessa served us beautifully. Very attentive and personable. Seemed like she was the only server for way too many tables but she soldered through. Food was excellent. We had the ahi tuna stack as an app- needed more wasabi and mayo but tuna was fresh and avocado was ripe. Had shepherds pie and lamb stew as mains. Both were perfect simple flavorful Irish fare. Soda bread with the lamb stew was still warm and soft. Had James and ginger to drink, mixed well. Music was very loud. A bit crowded. Extroverts would love it! Introverts should go at lunch or during quieter times. Good date night.

We had dinner here tonight for the first time. We loved the atmosphere, and our server Chris was amazing! We got the scotch eggs to start off with, and they were so good! I had the chicken pesto pasta and he had the beef and cabbage. We will be back soon!
