We pass by this one our way to Mimis now. We used to love First watch but after 3 bad experiences in a row with food and mostly wait staff we're not wasting our time or money. The food is consistently decent but doesn't make up for how bad the service has been and how expensive pancakes and eggs are. And for the love of everything holy, just put out splenda and normal half and Half on the table so the server doesn't have to bring 15 packets of Splenda and 3 little single servings of half and half creamer. It's so frustrating and it happens at every first watch.

First watch is known mainly for their breakfast but I love the roast beef sandwich. It's hard to find roast beef that has a nice, rare cut and tastes great with a really smooth horseradish sauce that's much better than the ones you get at the fast food places.

YIKES! Nose septum-ring girl muffed our order! Ordered a Veggie Burger! No idea what was placed before me with lots of huge mushrooms! I sent it back. Eventually a veggie burger was sat before me. Bleh. Nothing that tasty. Wife was finished with her meal before me. FAIL

Didn't wow me though decent food in a pinch. Server was friendly though had too many tables to be attentive. I had to get up to find someone to get syrup for our pancakes.

The food was actually good. I had the lunch special 1/2 Roast Beef and Havarti and Superfood Kale salad. The salad is supposed to be served with the carrots and chicken warm and the sandwich hot. All of it was cold. My husband ordered 1/2 Monterey Club and Cobb salad. His sandwich was good. His salad was the wrong salad. He was served the chicken and avocado salad instead and they forgot the salad dressing. Even with all of that, the food was good. The service on the other had was terrible. Our server completely ignored us. 10 minutes for our drink order, forgot the lemon, 10 minutes for the lemon, after taking our order we did not see him for 30 minutes. We had to ask another waiter to check on our order. It was ready, sitting there getting cold. He (the other waiter) brought it out to us. 10 minutes after we had our cold food our supposed waiter stopped by. We informed him our food was cold and he blamed the kitchen!!!! Worst waiter ever!! He was awful!

Food is very inconsistent at this location. We’ve been to serval locations in other states and we all love First Watch. This was our second time at this location and was hoping it was better than last time, it wasn’t. Today we got an elevated egg sandwhich - the bun was stale, the little bit of avocado I did have was brown, and the potatoes were raw and burnt. The trifecta waffle was soggy before any syrup was added.

Our visit started out with a 25 minute wait. Apparently it's the standard to "get in line" and "check in" via internet. That means it must be good, right?Drinks came right away. I had coffee, which was good, and the place a carafe on your table to refill your own. My wife's soda was replenished regularly no problem. Our waiter was polite. We did have to ask for flatware after our food arrived. Our meals took about 35 minutes to arrive. My wife ordered the Cobb salad and a fruit bowl, so no cook time required. I ordered "the works" omelet, and seasoned potatoes. Neither were hot but still warm.My wife had no complaints with her order. My omelet was fine, needed salt and pepper but good. The potatoes also needed a little extra but again, were good. They were cut unevenly so the smaller pieces were done, the larger slightly under. The menu had plenty of choices at a reasonable price. Our longer than usual wait was surely due to it being 12:30 on Superbowl Sunday. All in all, I would recommend. We were traveling so hopefully our more local location will be as good.Parking: Plenty of parking as this location is in a strip mall type location.
