“This place is definitely more crafts and gifts than antiques, but they aren't pretending do be anything else. The building is beautiful and the staff was so lovely! And I was able to find a few old things at a good price. If you like this kind of shop, Homespun will make you happy!”
“The first time I went to A New Hue was for a plaster class that was being taught by a guest instructor from out of town. Eugenia and her crew were friendly and and made sure we can access to anything that might need. She graciously took us on a tour of the house by the studio that she had redone so we could see some of her beautiful work full scale. I also got to watch her crew in action working on a vertical cement project on another that used similar concepts to what we were learning in the plaster class. It was such a fun experience!
More recently, I was able to attend a class Eugenia was teaching for carving plaster and concrete. She packed a ton of useful information into that one-day class. She made sure we had everything we needed to take home with us if we didn't finish a project in class. She's such a patient instructor while being so fun and gracious.
Eugenia is an amazing artist, and she's also a very genuine and kind individual. Her enthusiasm for creativity and life in general was a pleasure to witness. I would encourage anyone who is considering working her in any capacity to do so without reservation. Truly a wonderful experience!”
“This is one of my favorite Knoxville shops. Always unique finds there whether it is a fashionable boutique look to an array of seasonable items for home decor. My latest purchase was an antique Singer sewing machine. Lovingly restored by C & S Refinishing and Upholstery. They were impressed by the high quality of the piece. Worth mentioning this is a family business and another great reason to shop local.”

“Chimay beer is hard to find and I come here to get it. Its incredible beer made by monks and Belgium. They dedicate their life to work and prayer. Proceeds go to charities in the area. I also can mochi a Taiwanese candy on the way put. I love their little itally section. The prices are very reasonable considering their global supply chains can be expensive and complex. I enjoy talking to the really nice employees that work there. I'll be back for more chimay and Christmas gifts.”
“Was in here about a month ago, and bought a huge assortment of Czech Glass beads, in an assortment of sizes, all ranging from 11/0 to 8/0 in different colors. Was so happy to have gotten them at 50% off. Made me a very happy customer. Great staff, and vibe of the store.”
“Their prices are unbeatable the staff is friendly, courteous and willing to help. Everything about the place is awesome if you were trying to remodel or build your own DIY house. my fiance and I got over $500 worth of things for only $150 plus tax. We will be back again .”
“This isn't my favorite hobby lobby. Last time I was here, it was so hot in the building and the clearance section was INSANITY. There was literally stuff on the floor. I've never seen such an unorganized place. I haven't went back since.”
“Not what I was expecting. Warehouse feel with decent stuff but I felt a little pricey for the quality. I will say that the staff was very helpful when my friend found a side table she liked. Problem was she wanted a pair and the store only had 1 boxed. The floor model had a scratch so the employee searched their other store in Chattanooga on his phone where it said 1 was available.
We just didn't want to drive that far so unfortunately we passed on the table. Customer service was great though.”
