The store on Merchants Lane is AWESOME.!!!They don't have one bad employee - and, that reflects directly on the manager.!!!Yeh, I watch the ads and buy some stuff elsewhere; however, I give Ingles 90-95% of my business.I'm not gonna drive all over town for 'pennies on the dollar'.!!! To make this clear, I do drive down the street for - Dollars on the Dollar.!!!Thank You Ingles - Keep It Up .!!!

I had my first bad experience after frequenting this location for nearly a decade. There was this incredibly nasty cashier who turned her nose up at me and had an attitude with me the entire time I was checking out. I spoke, she ignored me and continued making a face like I was dirty. Which was strange because she was chatting up this white woman she rang up in front of me and I (a Black woman) thought this girl was really friendly. But this cashier's demeanor changed when she had to ring me up and said something slick about me to the white lady exiting the line. I know because the lady was looking back at me confused but went on about her way. This store deserves to be shut down.

Amazing staff. I ran to the store 15 mins before they close and when I got there I realized I only had $1 with me. I had left my wallet home but I needed peanut butter to make lunches for the next day. I went to customer service and asked if there was a small jar or clearance one or something. These 2 ladies pulled there pocket charge together and gave it to me to pay for my peanut butter. It was a small thing to some but ment the world to me. Thank. You so much ladies

Honestly I felt that the environment and structure of the business did not match the average cost of products comparatively. The staff quite Pleasant and professional and I overall enjoyed my experience but feel that a three out of five rating suits this particular location best.

Being new to the area, I wouldn't have found Ingles Market had they not been on a "store locator" for a product I was trying to find that no other stores in the Knoxville area carry. The employees are really helpful, and their attitudes seem to portray that they're happy in their jobs. With Ingles being among a dying breed of non-corporate grocery store chains, and family owned, that appears to be key to happier, and helpful staff. The store is well organized and clean. The layout is logical and things are easy to find. Ingles offers everything you need in a grocery store and purchases help a USA company that is family owned.

My wife and I had never been to an Ingles before, but we were shocked at the prices. We wanted a six pack of Pepsi, and it was $7 for 1, or $10 for 3. So, as long as you can buy in bulk I suppose the prices aren't too bad, but I've never seen a store operate quite like this. It was clean and the staff was friendly, so that's good at least.

Needed cash back and the sales clerk was there to help! Seriously, I got $59.48 back and only spent $60 The sales clerk instructed me that the candy bars were on sale with my value card. So I spent $.52 on the candy and got the remainder of the $60 in cash. This was perfect considering I didn't have the extra cash to pay for ATM fees. I was using a card I normally don't use, so the extra $2.50 + ATM fees weren't available. Normal stores only over certain increments for cash back. It was nice to get to pick how much I want to get back! First store that I know of to offer this option! (That I know of) thanks Ingles!
