Placed a curbside order for 5 shirts. Pulled into the parking lot and waited for about 10 minutes and then finally went into the store myself. I was given 1 t-shirt by an employee named Kat, who didn’t even greet me when I came into the store because she was on her phone, and she told me they were out of the rest of them. No call to offer a different size/brand. Walked out of the store to put the bag in the car. Walked back into Jo-Anne’s and found 2 other shirts with minimal effort that I had in the order that were canceled because they were “out of stock.”

I just left this location, and Terri was absolutely awesome. She went to the back and worked hard to find some green melting chocolate for me. She was so, so kind and helpful. She’s an amazing employee, and I hope Joann truly appreciates her because it doesn’t get better than Terri. I can tell she genuinely cares about customers and helping them. Give that amazing employee a raise, Joann!

Last time I went I had coupons on my app and the cashier told me they “haven’t been working lately.” One was for $10 off a $50 purchase, which I had more than passed. She scanned it and it wouldn’t attach, and she basically said there was nothing she could do. Didn’t offer a gift card in the amount of the coupon, call a manager, nothing. Hugely poor customer service when a customer has manufacturer coupons and there is zero effort made to honor them.

It's not the biggest Joann, but they had a nice selection of fabric. There was a great sale on yarn.

I love that they carry the Swiss alpine lore of Krampus, the unfinished ornament, which is not demonic despite Sadonna Scarlett’s review which has no idea about the history. Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic figure in the Central and Eastern Alpine folklore of Europe who, during the Advent season, scares children who have misbehaved. Assisting Saint Nicholas, or Santa Claus, the pair visit children on the night of 6 December, with Saint Nicholas rewarding the well-behaved children with gifts such as oranges, dried fruit, walnuts and chocolate, while the badly behaved ones only receive punishment from Krampus with birch rods. Krampus day itself, on the other hand, is on the 5th of December. Educate yourself more before you label something satanic because it makes you look grossly uneducated.

I personally love this Joann store. I go here all the time for Bernat Yarn. I do have to expect to wait 30 minutes in line every single time though because there is never enough cashiers any time of day. Today I discovered why.I called to see if they had positions open since I have been a SAHM for a year. They said to apply online and positions start at.... $8.50/hr!!?? I thought the girl on the phone was joking I was speechless. Its no wonder you cannot keep employees here. Hobby Lobby 1 mile down the road is hiring at $18. The poverty line in Knoxville is $75,000 a year. $8.50 is an absolute joke. Invest in your people and they will invest in you. Do better. Your net sales for 2022 was 2.4 billions dollars. Im really considering not shopping here anymore after figuring this out. I feel bad for anyone who works here.

It was pathetic, nothing stocked the store was a mess the only reason I gave it 1 star was because there isn't an option for zero stars

We spend a lot of time in fabric stores because my wife is a quilter. We normally shop at the Sevierville store. This location on Greenway Drive is not really that friendly, and the restrooms are in a serious need of a good deep cleaning. They are nasty. Also, the women's restroom door lock does not work.
