Seriously...I predict its just a matter of time before the ceo of karm gets indicted for stealing...I mean, with prices higher than Walmart, the missing cash has to be somewhere...karm sure doesn't seem to have any effect on homeless numbers...perhaps the food and judgement ploy karm offers isn't working...hum...too bad donations sit on a shelf with absurd prices rather than get sold to help folks...so, who does karm help...I wonder how much the ceo makes...

I’m REALLY SORRY Y’all BUT the items in your stores are in FACT NOT priced on their value!? your literally charging sometimes MORE than items are costing what the original price was brand new. And these items are incredibly used, stained, in need of repair missing parts, BROKEN parts on furniture!!!!! And YES 100% of your money taken in goes to a wonderful cause! However the amount of inventory you have in your stores is MILLIONS of dollars if you price it fairly and it will MOVE FASTER!!! I literally dare you to do this and you will watch the amount of money you make for your charity quadrupole and you’re doing MORE Good! Moving MORE Merchandise! You will get MORE donations I promise! And ten times the satisfying customer experience as well. How are y’all not understanding this concept!! Your clothes need to sell for $3 and Under! Your furniture needs to be $50 and UNDER! You will MOVE Everything and get MORE DONATIONS from it! Promise!!REPLY:This copy and Paste Response is insane!!! It’s literally the exact same reason to every other dissatisfied shocked person who comes to these stores and sees tore up Merch way WAY overpriced!! CLEARLY aim NOT Talking about a Louis Vaton purse you would sell for $150! I’m talking about the 1,000 T-shirts and like that you literally have marked for $6.99!!! That are OLD used VERY USED ofter old work shirts even. Like who’s literally gone even buy that except to paint the house in! And is worth NO MORE than .99!!! And I saw dozens of them marked for $6.99!! I saw broken furniture marked $150! Cabinets that literally held TUBE TVs! Like are you kidding me y’all! And you THINK its value is worth $150!!! And it’s BROKEN!! And houses a 32” TUBE TV!! You are aware that’s from the previous CENTURY RIGHT!! And please tell us where that value is priced at!!? Tell us where all those kids toys that are missing parts and hammered to DEATH and priced at their brand new price tell me how that’s priced at its value!!I’m telling you! If you’re truly interested in helping your wonderful charity!!!! AND a help the public who your customers are low income persons! You will move 100x more merch. - and generate so much more money for your charity! AND help the low income families in the community clothe and get furniture etc! It’s most beneficial all around. Instead your stores are busting at the seams with merch because you come across incredibly greedy which isn’t a good look y’all. Just saying. ?

My almost 4 year old had to go potty and they told me there’s no public restroom for her. That is unacceptable. Christian organization should have no issue helping out a little girl in a situation like this . Will not support this location again.

Expensive for a second-hand store. At first I thought the prices listed on the items were a mistake. It definitely made treasure hunting difficult.

I made an electronics purchase from Bearden location on 5/20/2023. Employee told me if it doesn't work I can return it with the receipt and proof of purchase within 7 days to any karm location to receive "store credit". It didn't work. I asked my husband to return it to the closest location to us. Which is in powell tn on clinton hwy. The "manager" was rude, condescending and very unchristian like. She would not take it back. Said we had to take it back to the location where it was bought. Showed her the receipt and employee initialed proof of purchase and explained what Bearden employee told us. Nope she said, ain't taking it back. I guess it's back to Bearden we go. I have been giving trunk loads of donations to karm since 1989. I will NEVER donate anything to KARM again. I'm done.

$120 for a bicycle with flat tires and in desperate need of work. Someone is going to buy that and get hurt bc it's unrideable or spend $150 at a bike shop to get it fixed. Bike barely worth $150 in perfect condition. Ialways leave karm stores angry and without giving them a dime out of my pocket. Thrift stores are supposed to be cheap bc the stuff you're selling is always wore out and in need of work.

Do not go to this store!!! Large items that you want, you better carry it with you, lol, because they will sell it to someone else while you are shopping!!!! NOBODY wants to own up to it!!!!!!!

The prices at Karm are crazy high. And why do they think I would like to donate my change? I hate it when they ask this. One day I'm going to ask them to round down the price and donate some change to me. Karm LLC, yes, they are a business and NO they are not a nonprofit, is so greedy they watch what people buy then increase the price on your next visit. I've deliberately bought odd ball items that were marked cheap then revisited the store a week later to see if they have bumped the price up, and they always do. I'm a small business owner, I have tons of leftover inventory I used to donate to Karm, not anymore. I find individuals or Churches and give them the surplus. I'd rather an individual sell it at a yard sale and make some money to feed their family than to give it to the GREEDY WEALTHY FAMILY OWNED KARM. Yeah, the richest family in Knoxville owns the stores, lol. Just the rich getting richer off the backs of the poor.

Struggle to consider stopping at karm stores lately. The prices are outrageous. Found a kid dress with a hole at $9 and the manager wouldn't budge on the price. To get it altered would be another $5-10. Found other things I'd have love to buy but couldn't justify the price tag for a thrift store.Maybe calling this a freely donated to boutique would be better than thrift store where people are hoping to score deals, especially in this economy. There's gotta be a better way than this. It's not just the location, but all karm stores are crazy priced. I was just super disappointed that a dress with a hole that would need to be fixed, couldn't be budged on price-whise. C'mon.Possibly instead of responding the same generic response to everyone, consider your customers. There are many expressing the exact same frustration that price gouging free stuff isn't what they want to support.

Very clean and organized. Now, I am all for supporting a charitable thrift, but their prices were sometimes higher than retail. No sales, so what happens when things don’t sell? Landfill? Very disappointed. Went to 2 locations in sevierville and Knoxville, both priced the same; ridiculously high for items donated for free. I hope nearly 100% of proceeds benefit others.
