I have called the director multiple times with no answers. I paid a deposit of $335 that they guaranteed us a spot and the first week of care. They told us we could have our son come in the fall with no specific date and I called and the director was always on a bus route or not in office with no call back. I called in spring no answer and now it is almost end of summer and I just want my money back. We did not get a spot nor would I send my kid to this facility. I have now spoke with the director twice this week but she keeps blowing me off saying she need to speak to admin or name isn’t in there database and it’s always “I’ll call you tomorrow.” They have probably spent my money and this is ridiculous!!

To all looking for a great, reliable daycare.. Your hunt is over!! Kiddie Kottage has been amazing. Laura is the sweetest director you will meet she is very caring and hard working. I love that she loves to jump in and help anyone! All staff at Kiddie Kottage is amazing. Its the small things that count! We knew we found a great daycare/preschool when our little one came home showing us everything she has learned - the early potty training starting at school helps us continue to learn at home. Kiddie Kottage is not just a babysitter & we love that we can count on them to help our child grow. Being a first time mom is hard leaving your child, even after they grow up from the infant stage. Till this day I feel comfortable leaving my child in there hands. Thanks to all staff. (everyone has faced some challenges due to covid ) Kiddie Kottage was able to work together in every situation to keep kids safe. We are so thankful for all the wonderful staff at Kiddie Kottage. Keep up the great work! You are so much apricated, more than it can show, more than you will ever know!

I began getting on daycare waitlists as soon as I found out I was expecting in early January 2022. If you are looking for infant care, you are likely finding that it is near impossible to find in Knoxville currently. We were looking for infant care to begin in mid to late November 2022. Of the 16 daycares I contacted in January 2022, Kiddie Kottage Debusk was the only daycare that confirmed they would have a spot for my child. I was very skeptical since they were the only place that said they would have a spot, but I paid a registration fee, supply fee, and a week of tuition to secure my spot. I reached out again after the birth of my child to confirm the spot was still available (the director confirmed), and completed all of the registration paperwork at that time (August 2022). Long story short, in late October, I started calling because I had not heard anything and the director, Ms. Laura Simmons, kept giving me the run around about when/if they would be able to accommodate my child. After 3 weeks of back and forth, I asked for my money back, and she said she would have to contact corporate because she was not able to issue a refund. I ended up contacting the Otter Learning regional manager personally, and the regional manager issued the refund. I routinely checked Google reviews during my pregnancy and in the postpartum period to see if any parents had experienced this issue, but since there were none, I assumed my skepticism was unwarranted. Hopefully, if you are in our shoes, you will have a back up plan.

We paid a deposit to hold a spot for this daycare for our child due later this year because it was the only daycare we called in our area that actually had an opening. After paying over $300 to hold a spot, we were for our tour and the director, Laura, was incredibly rude. She then went on to say to me that her behavior "has nothing to do with the way we treat our children here". Of all the rooms we toured, none of the staff were actually interacting with the children, they were all just sitting while children were sitting across the room. I literally left there in tears at even the thought of leaving my child in that facility. We asked while we were there about getting a refund and were told that we could not get the $50 registration fee back, but we were able to get the remainder of the deposit back if we did not attend. Since then, we have not gotten a deposit back, and they are refusing to refund us the "supply fee" that we paid in advance. Our child never attended there and obviously never used any supplies from this facility. I asked for contact information for a director, which Laura refused to give to me. I was able to get her email from the other location on Kingston Pike. I have emailed the West Knoxville Director, Rhonda, and have only gotten 1 response from her in over a month. Our concerns were never addressed and we still have never received a refund for anything. Very unprofessional from a management standpoint.

I don't know what issues they had during covid but right now they're doing great. My 14 month boy has been going there since the beginning of September (right before he turned 1) and even though it was a rough transition for him, the teachers supported us all the way and he stays there with a smile every day. He has grown and learned so mucu these 2 months. The director, Laura, has always treated us great too, maybe she had a bad day in that reviews but that can happen to anyone...

Paid $800 in deposit etc for my son to go here for 1 week. they closed classes for 3 year olds February 14th 2022 and have not reopened the classes (Supposedly due to staffing, even though they are still open) as of June 10 2022.

I had my daughter enrolled at the center in Knoxville. When her classroom shut down for a month they shut down the statement notifications. I am a single mother who is on an essential workers voucher. Because they shut off the notifications I didn't see that my voucher had expired and I would be paying full price. They took the money out of my account without me knowing how much I would be paying before hand. They will not give me my money back after I explained to them I can't afford to send her there now.

Drove my Spouse to a interview appointment, there was nobody in the lobby for 20 minutes and they slammed the door in my wife's face after telling her they had already hired another person. If this is how they treat potential employees imagine how they are treating the children enrolled there.

My little family cannot thank Kiddie Kottage and the staff enough! It takes a patient, caring and completely selfless person to do the job they do and they do it with a smile. I was so worried we wouldn’t be able to find someone with enough patience with our daughter being on the spectrum, but the teachers here really go above and BEYOND!! They challenge her daily and always celebrate even the tiniest of wins! It really is one big family!

Called to get information about enrolling a newborn and when the director answered the phone, she rudely just said “hello”. I asked a question and couldn’t help but laugh about how she was responding. When I said I was interested in enrolling a newborn, she perked up a little bit, but it wasn’t professional from the start so I couldn’t imagine it getting any better from there.

This school is over all pretty awesome. I have two daughters that have attended here for about 3 years now. I've never had any issues with the teachers or parents aside from the occasional fight or two that all kids get in as they grow up.Security here is A1 as well. You have to pass Biometrics and then a separate door with a passcode on a keypad. They do pick up from about 5 or 6 schools around West Knoxville and my daughters happened to go to one of those so that is very convenient. They have a specifically labeled bus. They also have a pretty cool summer program for kindergarteners and above filled with field trips and educational items. It is conveniently located and off the street of Kingston Pike in the Farragut area so anyone in West Knoxville will be happy. I definitely recommend this to any parent looking for a place but I know they are rarely free and always filled up which I suppose is a good thing.Kids won't stop and neither will this staff. The head director is pretty involved and asks me what we are doing daily and I know you don't always get that from staff at a childcare location. Highly recommend
