Felt very disrespected, John the owner blasted me for using the wrong pronouns. Disappointing that a "safe space" blast someone and kick them out for a "mistake."

I, unfortunately, did not really feel that comfortable or safe when I visited. I don't know if that's more on me or I was just not there at a good time. That said, while there, I kinda had an odd thought that maybe some space could be set up for people in the local LGBT+ community to sell their creative projects - from sewing, woodwork, and millinery (hat designs)...to books, art, and maybe music.

This location provided community outreach and resources to the LGBTQIA and South Knoxville community. Several programs are in place and operate from this location. They also host community events. So grateful to have them as neighbors.

Incredible Resource for the people (like me) who need it! Everyone is always super friendly and personable, and I always feel welcomed and safe- which definitely means a lot. I'm so glad I got to discover Knox Pride when I did- I couldn't be more grateful for their help, and highly recommend them.
