HORRIBLE!! This is without a doubt the most non-cooperative financial institution I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. A maze of never ending automated questions to reach a teller, then you wait 20 min just to speak with a live person. Once you do push 1000 prompts to actually reach a teller, they are unhelpful and transfer you somewhere else to sit on hold for 20 min. In addition Knoxville TVA isn't even a Tennessee institution, they are owned by some shady company in San Antonio.

I love going in the branches everybody's so nice and friendly. Wish they could work with the 1-800 number people. And some of their issues. My card was hacked and you're trying to tell me that you can't update my address to get a new one mail to my house where I currently live and instead you wanted to send it to my ex house where I barely made it out alive. She tells me that there's nothing she can do. Guess it's time to close this account too

I have always made payments two or three months ahead of the due date; for some reason, you are charging me a late fee on a payment due on 10/26/23 that was cashed by TVA CU on 9/18/23! Have you no shame? Why are you charging me a late fee on a payment that was made more than a month ahead of the due date. I guess you are just as bad as any given bank! SHAME ON YOU! I will report this egregious lack of upstanding businessship to any and every agency possible as well as social media. I will NEVER do or recommend doing business with you again! I am appalled and sickened by your greedy and... whatever; you have lost all of any confidence I might have had in you.

When I had an issue after business hours, I sent an email and received a response almost right away. Kristen reviewed my account and quickly identified and resolved the issue. There is a reason I have been a member for over 20 years! Thanks TVA!

Management knows what they are doing at this location! We came in to open a new account, and it was an absolute breeze. They got us in quickly, explained everything very well, and were very kind. 5 Stars!

Worst place to do business with. Their customer service sucks! If you are wealthy and can afford to pay fees, this is the place for you! The lady I spoke with was so rude! All I wanted to do was pay off my vehicle! Run

I am having issues with making payments with this bank at Knoxville TVA Credit Union. They have accused us of not paying even after providing banking information numerous times. On top of that, I have set up an automatic payment three or four times, but I have to continually have to check my bank account to make sure it has actually come out on our end and the whole process starts all over again!I am filing a credit complaint for their unethical practices.

Paid off auto loan yesterday, was told title would be available today, called twice to see where it was, was told I may have it tomorrow, not sure, asked why it wasn't sent & wasvtold it wasn't an available option. To overnight a car title???? And I criticized the lack of customer service & was hung up on...twice. Worst ever. Plus the shittiest automated phone system out there. This place is a shit show.

well, i love travis and aaron i have been using this tva for a long time. i even have walked people here after the one on the corner of wahl and gay street closed. the people are friendly but i believe upper management is bad because there are always new people here and being a senior i have applied and always turned down. then i come here and there are new employees and turnover. i apply again and i get the typical regret to inform you letter. then back to market square and another one is leaving. i do have trouble with their app at times but tva bank as a bank/credit union is good for me. upper management and hr need to wake up when hiring people who will stay.

TVA's customer service is second to none and they always take care of their members. I am always able to get through to a rep who can help with a question or issue as well. Glad we switched!

Do not bank here! They will put you in collections and threaten legal action over being 1 payment late. In fact I was half a payment late and when I paid the late bill and the current I was told I had to still call collections. When I did I was confronted by a very rude and aggressive woman. She would try to talk over me the whole time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this back! I wish I could give it 0 stars. Worst customer service ever!

Knoxville TVA employee credit is a joke...they give you your some months early and then some months not it's on the 1st I am a member with this bank for right now...I would give this bank a 1 star ⭐ which I did

Horrible I totaled out a truck turned in everything to insurance extended warranty and gap since they got all the money they wanted to put late charges and interest my final owe was 882.00 went to collection I I knew I owed money every month I went in and ask about it as paid my wife payment noone told me anything about paying payments while all the the insurances paid my fault I guess I didn't read the fine line so while I was there today the lady wouldn't take my money till I talked to collections so she calls them I spoke to lady named jedda in collection told me I owed 882.00 so. I said I'll pay it off now 882.00 to 1442.00 it went I ask for a little help she lied to a member I then talked to a guy named Mark that said this could even effect the jeep loan they all need training I didn't mind paying the 882.00 but I'm so frustrated on how things were handled and getting lied to so not only more out of my pocket food on the table and gas for the heat but bam ruining my credit be very careful with this whole establishment seems even big organizations are after the middle class. UPDATE :Mark called me back today and my account was taking care of so after all the misunderstanding they ended up doing me great and changed my mind on how I feel about them thank you

Very good bank with customers services. I walk-in today I find 3 tellers so my luck deal with the lady who answer all my questions fast and smooth beside all my transactions. After short talk as is new face to me .I figured out she is the branch manager. She done great job beside her smile.Thank youmrs Kristel Cannon for helping me

My husband passed away he bought the life insurance on the loan to pay the vehicle off at his death when I went to TVA I was told the insurance was not transferred to the new vehicle loan so they would not have to pay the loan off. So now I have to return the vehicle. I believe he was ripped off for the premiums he paid he was told the insurance was transferred to the new vehicle loan and now I am told it didn't so I believe he was lied to by the TVA representative or I am being lied to.
