Kevin likes to call customers stupid when traffic is chaotic.. some lady almost hit my car and then demanded I move when there was no way to move more out of her way, Kevin then proceeded to walk along side of my car to continue throwing his hands up calling me stupid. I can only do so much in Christmas chaos traffic in Kroger parking lot. Crazy ..

I see that this Kroger has plenty of one-star reviews but I feel like most of those are one-dimensional, trigger-happy reviews where someone reacted too quickly to a singular event. So I am granting this hellish store and nearby grounds with two stars, only because I know the truth of this store that I've tried to find merely acceptable for about six years now. For at least six years, their prices are unreasonably high (compared to local competitors like Target or Food City) and when they are not "high" it is because they have been temporarily lowered to attract a bargain-hunter (which, yes, all stores do that but Kroger has to come down from the mountain and act like they do it better, which maybe on a few things, yes, but not on enough for their attitude). Someone else here mentioned their numerous self-checkout lanes which yes, as an introvert I do appreciate but the simula-human voices that direct you are aggressive and super-bossy and their tone is the worst. (The regular, actual-human checkers are mostly former Walking Dead extras who have given up on their dreams.) But let me assure you that if you want a parking space where you can leave your car while you suffer the inside of this establishment, you will most likely have to drive around a while. For six years there were not ever enough parking spaces and then they removed about 20% of them to add a "Kroger Gas" station, which is just inexcusable. Avoid this Kroger--you will never know the trouble you've avoiding seeing.

For the past several months I have purchased strawberries though online pickup and they have been bad every time. The last time I purchased strawberries was Oct. 27th 2023 and today 3 days later in Oct. 30th 2023 I open the container and they are molded!! I have complained to customer service multiple times and yet I still get molded strawberries on my online pickup orders.

It just took me 35 minutes to check out. I was forced to self checkout because only 2 full service lanes were open.

Not the place to come if you're disabled. Only 8 handicapped parking spaces because they removed a bunch of them to have 20 grocery pick up spots. Ridiculous. Also the motorized carts are always either not charged or broken. I always end up stuck sitting in the car because I can't walk for very long.

Horrible customer service! The food is never stocked well enough and rude employees. The ambiance is off putting. Would not recommend

This fountain city store is going down the drain fast man bring a Trader Joe’s here much better customer service no fried chicken anywhere in the store. I asked to go in the deli. Where’s your fried chicken? He looks at me like he’s on freaking drugs. Crack has no idea what I’m talking about. Not a single shopping cart. On either end of the store they are literally in the middle of the parking lot hanging out no shopping cart whatsoever so I’m gonna go to foodcity and get my fried chicken. They’ll have a shopping cart ready for me. This store really sucks in my whole neighborhood in fountaincity has stopped coming to fountaincity Kroger because it has turned into a welfare food stamps store, and the damn help in here looks like they’re on drugs. That’s what a union does to a store man they pull it down to the laziest crackheads in the business. Kroger should be ashamed of themselves, but they don’t care about their damn shoppers anymore. All they care about is their CEOs in Ohio getting the money.

DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU NEED A MOTORIZED CART.I had to stop going because their electric carts are never charged, broken, or are unavailable.

Always have such great prices and rewards with fuel points compared to any other retail grocery stores. The people are always so friendly and are willing to help you with anything, even if that includes running to the back to check on items for you. Been going to this Kroger since I was a kid and have loved it ever since. Especially now that they have a fuel station!!

I will never shop at this Kroger or possibly any Kroger after my interaction with an employee who cussed at me and had such a poor attitude. The employee was coming out of back room and hit myself and two other women with his buggy. I immediately kindly told him nicely they would have to watch for people in the future when coming out swinging doors. He then cussed at me and said "maybe you should watch where you put your buggy with alot of attitude. He then took off sprinting down the isle. I spoke with manager and she told me she would review the cameras (which cannot pick up sound). She seemed as she was blaming me for the incident and didn't seem very sorry and had lack of care. I spoke with vendor (that I've known for years) and he said the employee is known for his attitude. This wouldn't be a big deal but im terminal on hospice so to be treated this way was unbelievable.
