I am very satisfied with the work Maaco did on my '95 Dodge Ram in Knoxville,TN which my father gave me when he was too sick to drive. It looks like it came out of the showroom. I recommend them if you need a paint job.

It started off great...however, communication ended up being really choppy. I felt as if I was being stalkerish by the amount of times I had to call to check up on my project. When I called them out on what they told me previously, they brushed it off as if I said nothing at all. I felt that because my project was a smaller one that I was placed on the back burner. What was supposed to be a 2 day project turned to be a little over a month. I will say at then, they did some digging to make what i wanted work. At the end of the day my project was at least completed but it had me skeptical on whether I would be a returning client if I had to be.

Just recieved my 05 f250 back and love the fresh look. Due to its age we had a problem getting the pinstripe installed. The factory color was obsolete. No problem for these guys. The manager helped me think outside the box and was able to get me a color match for the original paint skeem. Extremely nice to talk shop with as well. The price was good and I really Enjoyed the experience.

I wish I had read the reviews thoroughly before ever taking our vehicle to Maaco. The process, from beginning to end, was difficult. I understand that coordinating with insurance is never easy, but a bumper repair that was quoted as a one week job turned into a two month ordeal. We were given false deadlines, was rarely able to get updates on the phone, we emailed daily to attempt to help the shop "coordinate" with our insurance company, and were just given the run around constantly. The estimate was edited three separate times due to lost parts, incorrect parts, labor misquotes, you name it. Ashley did the best she could, and I appreciate her help, but Michael was unprofessional and again told us things that were disputed in writing by the insurance company. To add insult to injury, when we picked the car up almost EIGHT WEEKS LATER, the headlights, which worked when we took the car in, no longer worked and MAACO refused to fix, saying they are unable to fix headlights in a body shop. So, in addition to the excess rental car fees we also had to pay ANOTHER SHOP, right down the road, additional money to repair the headlights, and they finished the work in one day. RUN FROM THIS BUSINESS. You will not receive customer care. Your car will not be repaired timely. After over $3,000 was paid to MAACO, we still had to take to another repair shop. I honestly am not sure how they are still in business.

Michael, the manager, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He’s running a busy, old school shop. They still made time for me, even though I’m a nosy customer and want to check in on the progress as it progresses. Turn around was fast, quality was good! They kept me in budget, and I feel the price was right for the work. I had quotes as low as $800 and as high as $45,000 (not joking), and I asked all around town. I saw the work coming out of the maaco, and walked through their lot a few times looking at some of their finished products, and decided to give them a chance. The paint has a couple flaws, and some little fuzzies in it, but at the end of the day it’s a black car and it shines like a new dime and I’m going to drive it. Any other color wouldn’t show any of it. No runs I could find, it isn’t all orange peeled. I expect it to last a while as well. Freddie, their detailer, was great. He was personable and stayed late to help put everything together in a good way before I picked up the truck. He busted his butt to get me on the road in time to make it to our family reunion in a shiny new car. Great work! I’ll attach a few before and after pics.Let me just say that since Covid, a lot of business took the opportunity to drop their quality and raise their price, and generally throw out customer service and respect. I can’t tell you how many shops I walked into and was treated like an idiot right through the door. It sucked and it made me want to give up on of having a nifty Chevy blazer I could be proud of. These folks treated me like a person with some dignity, and it’s refreshing.

Michael, the manager was pleasant to deal with. The quality of the work for the price was fair. Although they did call me in the middle of the work and told me they would have to charge me an additional $100 after they had already quoted me a price. I will never go back there again because the girls that work upfront that are supposed to be customer service were very rude and disrespectful. I have zero tolerance for disrespect. I will never give them my business again.

" “ATTENTION”“BE CAREFUL “Do not take your car to this place, it is a Russian roulette, I am 100% sure that you will not be satisfied, it is a nightmare. My VAN was damaged by a tornado and I paid them almost $6,000 to have it painted properly and repaired. The quality of service and work is horrible… we went 5 times to complain about all the faults that remained and were left with a truck that has two shades of green paint. At all times their response was that they did not have a furnace or proper painting equipment. They then pointed me to the fact that the document I signed states that I must accept their work as it comes out. They did not give us a choice.I had read the bad reviews that other clients had written, however I was betting that it would not happen to me but in the end I fell into their trap.Don't even think about taking your car there, you won't be satisfied and you will be another victim of this nightmare.A week after having my van bubbles began to appear everywhere, I paid for a general repair and paint and discovered that they only sprayed paint superficially, they do not have an oven. In conclusion, it is a total fraud, I warn you NOT TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS BAD PLACE. They are a joke, they don't know anything about how to repair a car and the worst in service, don't waste your time and listen to all the bad reviews so you can avoid a bad time with them. it's not worth it.

Quotes from other body shops were way higher and wouldn’t be done for at least a month (for a very small ding). Ashley was super friendly and had the body guy come out and take a look to make sure they got it fixed right. I ended up paying half of what Joe Neubert quoted and it came out great. They’re a busy shop, but they get things done in a timely manner and with good quality.
