Walked in to browse and ended up purchasing. This is obviously a higher end $ shop but the sales person treated me politely and professionally, even though I was dressed very casually, answering all my questions and assisting me. I don’t need all the glitz and glamor of the other items sold here but I appreciated the assistance with the limited makeup I do wear.

Edith and her husband Dean are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. She always gives me samples and asks really good questions to make sure I get what I need. She gives great tips too on how to apply makeup and skincare. I only shop at this location.

I pass about 5 stores to come to this one so I can visit with the sweet lady that owns it. She was very personable and helped me find my right colors! Going in her store makes me feel like I’m at home. Will continue to restock here.

Agree w previous posts. The owner had Zero consumer awareness! She’s unprofessional, no incitement to return. My mother and I, who easily would have spent $200 btwn us bought little, and left in stitches. Now, the other associates are great, but are restrained. I mean really, if I spend $200 you can’t give a sample!!?? Live a couple miles away but give my business to turkey creek.

I stopped by Merle Norman at the Gallery off of Kingston Pike last week. I just wanted to let Edith know how much I appreciated her help a while back. She gave me so many tips on what to purchase, what colors were best for me and how to apply the product. I hear her in my head whenever I apply any makeup. She's a terrific teacher. I just wanted her to know what an impression she made. Thank you for your expertise, Edith!

I had phoned the Kingston Pike shop this morning to order one of their eyeliners that I like. I arrived wearing my face mask and vinyl gloves. The woman sales lady would not allow me in the store to pay for the eyeliner and I had to count out my money with all my belongings placed on the sidewalk. I asked if she would put a chair or little table out there for me to put my pocketbook on; she refused. She herself was not wearing a mask. She insisted this is the way it had to be done. I went next door to set my pocketbook on a neighboring shop's table. I then paid her and told her I would never come back and she didn't respond. There were no other customers there. I don't know how that shop stays open with her operating it.

Attention all LGBT individuals do not go to the Kingston pike store.the owner was not only rube to me a former employe of Merle Norman but did not listen to my mother at all. we came in was to try the green primer which we stated was what we came in for. Instead of showing us the primer and telling us about the product we wanted.she redid my mothers whole face then told my mother that way she does her make was wrong and make her look old. After ignoring both of us the owner chose prouduct she personly liked and after she Applied them my mother said she was not happy and the owner ignored her.the owner only cared about what she thought was best not what we wanted .this was the wrost experience I've hade at a Merle Norman store it's also the worst experience I've had at any cosmetics store. Both my mother and I agree part of the reason she was so rude is because I'm a gay feminine man and she didn't like that I was in her store.after leaving we were so upset we thought about stopping our support of the brand all together.we will never go back to this location.
