Best bank? Not in my opinion. I had an account at Regions (Union Planters at that time) in Memphis when I went to school there. I was with the bank (regardless of name changes) almost 40 years. During the financial crisis, they were NO help and often misrepresented the truth. I currently have an account at a local credit union and I have found them to be far and above more customer service oriented, cheaper to use and superior across the board. I still have a mortgage with Regions that is soon to be paid off. (Regions told me that Regions Mortgage was not a part of Regions Bank so the money is not mixed. Lie.) Regions Mortgage closed my credit lines at the bank during the crunch without my knowledge. I will celebrate being free of them when they are gone. Big is NOT better. I could go on and on in detail, but it would be a waste of time given that I see Regions provides a canned response to all complaints. Their 2 1/2 star rating is generous and I suspect if more people reviewed, it would be less.

Nice, helpful people. I'm very satisfied with every experience I have here.

There was nobody waiting when I arrived but three desk people just looked at me. Jayson finally asked if he could help me but I got the impression he didn't want to. I told him what I needed, he said "anybody in the branch can help you with that." He never stood up, never introduced himself, never asked me to sit down. Wouldn't give me any eye contact. I pulled out the chair and handed over my ID. I went away in about ten minutes with my problem solved but I was made to feel like I was infringing on his time.

Did not appreciate how either the front tellers treated me (ignored me, even after making eye contact, until I pressed them) or the man I worked with on a money transfer, Jayson Tackett. I have no proof that he was discriminatory, but in my experience, every time I have been treated the way he treated me, it has been due to bigotry. I didn't appreciate his gruff, one-word responses. I didn't appreciate his tone or manner. I expect decency and respect from the other members of my community. If he cannot do that, he does not need to be in a community-facing role. I'm unsure if he's never seen a queer person, or if he thinks he can bully them back into what he sees as "normalcy". Either way, it was a bad experience and I was surprised he didn't outright refuse to serve me. Not only that, there is religious propaganda in many of the offices. It would be so nice to go somewhere like a public bank and not have their agenda in my face. The bank should be neutral. It felt anything but. I have enjoyed my time with Regions, and so I was surprised at how awful this whole situation was. Maybe Jayson was mean to me because I was wearing a mask. That's also absurd. I have been sick and wearing a mask was to protect HIM and anyone else who might get near my sick breath. Just nasty. Made me embarrassed to be part of their community. I'm just disgusted.

I attempted to file a chargeback after a company sent me a product that directly contradicted the description under “Product Details” on the checkout page. The teller was very polite but he directed me to the branch manager, who could not have been more uninterested in my dilemma. I understand that the fraud department handles these chargebacks, but it is her job to accurately report my situation. I described it to her, she typed and read back to me what she had recorded….it was absolutely totally dissimilar to what I had said. It made me sound like I was an uninformed buyer, when in fact I was scammed with a bait and switch. She promptly cut me off to tell me she had passed it over to the fraud department. Not only did the branch manager manage to me feel entirely IRRELEVANT, she even managed to make my situation WORSE! :).

I've been sick this week and wasn't able to make it to my regular branch, so I decided to visit this one so I could cash my paycheck and pay my rent. The teller was very rude, and said he would not cash my check because I didn't have the equivalent of the amount on the check in my account. I have never had this issue with another branch, and asked if I could at least cash part and deposit the rest. He said he could only give me cash based on what I had in my account, and then proceeded to announce the amount loudly and say he could give me x amount. There were other guests in the lobby. I find it insanely unprofessional to announce a guest's account balance to where others can hear. And because I saw another poor review mention him, it was the balding male teller with glasses. He seems to be a problem for your branch.

TERRIBLE service as soon as we had a fraud issue. My husband had 100$ taken out of his account via a check HE NEVER SIGNED FOR. The bank told us that the teller "copied and pasted the wrong account number" (my husband has never written a check EVER) then after A MONTH of fighting with them to give us an ETA on the refund no one could ever give us an ETA on the funds being reversed. They are a good bank , till you have an issue.

Opened online, went to this branch to get debit card and wad never told about the stupid signature card. So the debit card was useless, had to call and talk to someone that said he fixed it but he didn't fix the savings, so I transfer money to savings for a month and go to transfer some out and can't. So I end up not being able to get a room and sleep in my danm car.

I truly hate going to this branch and the only reason I do go is because of my job. I’m almost always treated like I’m an inconvenience to the tellers. More than once I’ve had to stand and wait, while a teller turned to the others to have a personal conversation, while she was in the middle of counting my deposit. The extent of my needs is minimal, a deposit or two, through the drive thru and if I have more than two, I go inside. The balding male teller with glasses is the absolute worst. He always looks irritated and he never says hello or how can I assist you, much less ever offer a thank you or goodbye. He just sits and stares till I put my deposit in the window slot. It’s sad that a simple visit to the bank can become such a negative experience.Common courtesy and customer appreciation are things you won’t find here at this branch.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. Just think about how upset a person really needs to be, to leave a negative review…..on a bank…..a BANK…..Do yourself a favor, heed the warnings posted here. **update** FYI The account that replies to the posts on here is just for show…total joke

This is going to be a lengthy review. So I work with a local company and we have our finances through regions(I'm not going to name us for anonymity). So my first problem with this location is possible theft of identity. I was taking my deposit to the site as I had been, but this time they suddenly asked for my license and social. I went along since I was tired and didnt think much of it. They have never asked again, and next day they are open I'm going to go and make sure they remove that information or I will file a lawsuit. My second problem is that another day after this incident, the Saturday before labor day to be exact. We've never had a problem making deposits on Saturday before, but this time I spoke to a male teller. He was very nice at first, but then he kept telling me over and over how he wasnt supposed to take the deposit, but he would this time, and how I'd have to wait on deposits till monday or tuesday if a holiday. He said this at least 7 or 8 times, no exaggeration. If it wasn't for my company banking with them, I'd happily never go here again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had a family emergency and ended up getting to the bank on Saturday 1 minute before close (I desperately needed to do the transaction) and the woman working saw me walking to the door and rushed to the door to lock it in my face while I was 10 feet from the door. Then said “we are closed” I litterally begged because I was desperate and she didn’t care. Worst customer service I have ever seen. I was considering a loan through them and now I will not be doing that. I will also be transferring banks. I won’t do business with someone who doesn’t want mine.
