So I won a lottery ticket from another gasoline station and took it into this gas station to redeem it. After he agrees to cash it out he complains "oh, you're not going to buy anything," and then when I said "oh, not at this time," he said "just leave and don't come back then." I don't think he was being racist toward me (he's from India), but his self centered mentality certainly makes me strongly consider taping into my negative feeling about this race, something I really try hard not to do.
