I had banked at that location for over 10 years and they don’t care about customers. I was told I could open a boat loan and then proceeded to waste a week of my time “waiting on additional information “ aka Andrea wasn’t working on my loan. I emailed her several times with no responses only to find I was being ignored when I showed up at the bank to see she was at work. I closed my accounts and will not be banking with them again. Do better Truist

They make it nearly impossible to speak to someone on the phone for help. When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me I had to go into the branch for help *with my closed account*. I had closed my account, then they started charging me fees on my closed account 2 months after closing it, which resulted in collections calls (as I was not monitoring my closed account and wouldn’t have known about them otherwise), and then they told me I would have to go into a branch to fix it….get this…since the account is closed. Unbelievable!! What is the point of having a customer support number? After 40 minutes on the phone, discussions with two separate agents, anescalation to a supervisor, lots of asking them to be reasonable and how his makes any sense, they were finally and magically able to remove the fees.Really frustrating and unprofessional business practices and I am glad that I have transferred my business to an online-only bank, where ironically it is much easier to get in touch with a real person (without having to travel to a branch!).

I have been with this bank for at least 3 or 4 name changes. Long story short. My mom passed away and I went in to handle her account. I worked with Bill. Brought in her death certificate (and she already had me on her account). He said he had added her death certificate to her account. No need to do anything else. Well they continued to take out fees. Sending her statements to her old address (well she's dead- not getting mail). Then they send me a letter (finally to my address) saying she is past due on her account. I go in to talk to Bill- he said he remembered me but there was nothing he could do. Even though he said we had taken care of her account. I have canceled my account. I cannot stand liars!

Horrible bank! Since the BB&T merger they have lost there customer forward banking. I honestly wonder how any of these bankers can sleep at night destroying peoples lives.

Since SunTrust is changing to Truist I stopped by to get some information about how the transition would affect my accounts and how to get an extra debit card. Cathy was very helpful and patiently answered my questions. Unfortunately I will not be able to get a extra debit card.As Truist will only issue one card. I have always been treated very well at this branch and hope to continue to bank here.

I opened an account at Suntrust (now Truist) in order to consolidate funds for the purchase of a single level condo for my handicapped mom. She is currently residing in a trilevel house and after surgery cannot get up and down stairs to even go to the bathroom. Within 24 hours of transferring $240.000 into the account to buy the condo, they put my account on hold. then they chose to close my account without giving me a call or a reason for doing so. I am now being told that my funds will not be released back to me for 5 more weeks. I am a medical professional with 36 years of experience, my FICO is 831, and I have never bounced a check. This bank basically confiscated the money that I had to help my handicapped mother. I have called several times, retained a lawyer, and spoken to the local manager daily for the last 3 weeks. Basically, no one really cares. They all say that their hands are tied and that there is no one to reach out to that can help me. I am going to be in default in my real estate contract due to their ineptness. I would suggest to anyone wanting to keep their money safe, please bank elsewhere.

The Cedar Bluff branch is awesome! While it's not my closest branch, it has become my favorite. I had 3 unique needs over the last 4 weeks -- for each, I showed up at my Sat appointment time and everything was taken care -- quickly and friendly. My compliments to the branch manager, Eric Hubble. I've been a SunTrust customer for 30+ years -- just wanted to say "nice job"!!

Felt absolutely unsafe at the ATM. It's the slowest one I've ever encountered. Took longer than 60 seconds to count 20 bills. Displays ads between transactions and is very confusing. Ridiculous
