As I approached checkout counter overhead employee make a snide comment about me. Lady checking me out just laughed. Will not return to this Talbots location. (Melrose Place on Kingston Pike). Very unprofessional and unacceptable.

Staff not helpful. 2 staff in store and I was only customer. No one acknowledged my presence, but when another group entered they were greeted. Walked around with armload of clothes past both salespeople - still nothing. When I finally went to a changing room on my own and was trying things on (closed door - other rooms standing open), I was walked in on by a salesperson helping one of the other group. Left pile of clothes and walked out. Will not go back to this store.

The door is locked and you have to knocked to be admitted. There is no one stationed at the door. The customers were warmly greeted and hugged. I got a hey. I found the skirt I wanted. I wandered around found a top. Everyone else was being helped and shown to dressing rooms. No one spoke or offered assistance. Clerks were huddled together talking. There was a dog in a carrier on a chair. I am highly allergic to dogs. Since I wasn't welcome, I laid my clothes on a chair and unlocked the door and left. This experience has made rethink my talbots loyalty, my credit card and my talbots wardrobe.
