This is the worst service I have ever received. "Manager Chris" was rude, unprofessional and demeaning! I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN! Total jerk! He would NOT listen to me at all! At least now he knows it was really me on the phone.

I have used this location multiple times since being in Knoxville because of the great customer service, Today was different I rented a truck and returned it , the store clerk called back asking about a dolly that supposed to been on the truck I told him the truck didn't have one I use my own personal one he still charged me for a dolly Customer rep fixed the problem and refunded me back my money

Great place to rent different types of u-hauls and pickup trucks for moving needs. The only downside is they charge .69cpm

The associate was extremely helpful and made the process easy and quick. This is my second time using that facility and I will always return to this location just because of the excellent customer service I received.This is my go to place to rent a u haul and I will tell people I know of my great experience.

do NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AT ALL!! I came in today promptly and with all the required information. I had already booked online because I wanted to make it an easygoing check in experience for the employees. I knew how much everything would cost and what kind of personal identification I needed, because I have had a truck from them previously with no issues. I came in vibrant and very excited to pick up my things I needed. I came in waited a few minutes before I was serviced which I didn’t mind at all. Mr. Omar seemed irritable already maybe because he was the only one on duty at that time. He was rude on approach, I asked him a few questions hence I am a customer so I have all the right to ask the questions. Before signing ANY TYPE OF LEGAL BINDING CONTRACT AGREEMENT!!! He was very short with me and snippy with all of my questions as if I was an inconvenience to him. I let it go the first few times but what really struck me was when he tried to call out to the number they use for rentals they did not pick up he said verbatim” You’re a witness I tried to call and they didn’t pick up”. Very unprofessional behavior because really that is none of my business. He then proceeds to be very aggressive with his choice of wording with me, when I asked about the initial price difference when booking online versus coming to pick up. He keeps saying “Well I just work here I am not the owner”. That is very understandable like I told him, I said there is not excuse though for how I am being treated I am asking important questions, so I do not get myself into something I can’t get out of. He continues to cut me off about my card, the price, the deposit fees everything I asked him it’s like he’s getting more and more irritated. HE THEN PROCEEDS SAY HE IS GOING TO CANCEL MY RENTAL, CANCELS IT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL AND WALKS OUT OF THE STORE LEAVING ME IN THERE BY MYSELF FOR A GOOD 15-20 minutes. Which I had to pick up BEFORE 5pm because they were closing plus, I had already paid for my items that I had to drive 45 minutes away to get. So, there was absolutely no way I could return it before the next business day. I sat there trying to figure out how to go about the situation without causing a huge fuss, because yes now I am pissed. I called the store owner and he is very nice upon speaking with him. He said he was going to call the employee and figure out what happened mind you it’s been about a hour doing this back and forth. I stayed inside of the building the ENTIRE TIME by MYSELF!!! He calls me back saying that we we’re basically going back and forth and we were both in the wrong and I absolutely disagree because I was very kind and respectful!! I will although not act as if someone didn’t just rudely dismiss me. I am very competent on what I was looking for his employee rude and just does not enjoy his job! He says that he does not want to work with me because I was not in the store and that I was sitting outside in my car after he offered to rent me out the truck anyway. When I in FACT SAT THERE WAITING TO BE SERVICED THE ENTIRE TIME. I ONLY LEFT THE STORE AFTER BEING TOLD BY THE OWNER THAT HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP ME because I either want the truck or I don’t then HUNG UP IN MY FACE!!! I ONLY LEFT TO MAKE SURE I WAS NOT IN ANYONES WAY BECAUSE YES I WAS UPSET AND DIDN'T WANT TO DISRUPT ANY OTHER POTENTIAL GUEST!!! The fact he told me he usually just walks always from rude employees is crazy when I had something very important to do and his employee refused to service me. You want to reprimand me INSTEAD OF YOUR RUDE EMPLOYEE! Which there are more that 20+ negative experiences from this one location to prove that. I want people to be aware of how they might be treated and you may have a better experience. I am telling you this was by far the worst experiences I’ve EVER HAD!! I don’t post reviews or even go this far but I just can’t believe the absolute incompetence, inconvenience and lack of empathy for your customers!!! There was in fact nothing he could have done anyway after how the situation went initially.

Owner was nice and friendly, even told me about a wreck where I was going to be going, truck was nice and clean. The AC was really fabulous in this heat lately, I wish my cars AC was this good. Not my first time renting a truck from this location over the last 5 years, it’s always been a pleasant experience.

If I could give his location zero stars I would. I dropped off a truck at this location after driving across the country in October 2022. The manager on duty was very rude whenever I got there. I unloaded and stored my items and then move them out a few weeks later. At the time of move out, I waited for an employee to help me, but no one seemed to be available, and the one person that I did speak to said that he could not help. other people were there and frustrated as well as there was no one around to help for about an hour. I finally completed my move out online. Fast forward to July 2023, and I find out that I have been put on an E-Alert because of my review that I left on U-Haul‘s website for this incident. This prevents me from renting until I call an 800 number and sit on hold for 30 minutes. The computer said I owed $1, which was added because I was "argumentative" with the employees at the store. I never actually spoke to anyone at move out other than to be told they couldn't help me. I left a review through uhaul and then find out I have an E-Alert on me. Absolutely childish behavior. Do not recommend renting or working with this location. There are other options in town and they are very helpful.

This location only seems to have 1 person working at a time. Went to get propane tank filled. Rang bell and waited 10 minutes. No one came. I went inside, and the gentleman working said he is too busy and has multiple customers ahead of me. I have been here many times, and I always only see 1 person working. What kind of company only has 1 person on staff at a time. That is absolutely ridiculous. When there are no other customers waiting, the service is good and they are nice. If you see any cars in the parking lot or someone renting a truck, be prepared to waste hours. The uhaul location on alcoa Hwy is much faster.

The tire on a pick up truck that we rented a couple weeks ago blew out on the sidewall. Apparently the way we had the insurance coverage, it would have been better if we wrecked the truck instead of saving it and only having to replace the tire. We had to pay almost $200 for the tire that was not our fault. Seems more like it was a defective tire. We are not aware of hitting anything to blow it out. Make sure you inspect all areas of the tires they put on their vehicles before you rent one out.

Second time renting from this location. First time they didn't get the drop off city right by 80 miles, and now I've come to find that they don't seem to be able to use the cards on file where other u-haul locations in the area we've rented from have the ability to use the card on file from the reservation. Defeats the purpose of the reservation some when you only have that card online. I've recommended to the fellow movers not to use this location if it can be helped.
