Today, as has been the case many times in the past months, the lobby is not open as scheduled. It is Wed., Feb. 28 so no holiday listed on the holiday notice on the door but the place is still locked up right. The lobby is unmanned 6a until the retail windows open at 7:30a so how hard is it to walk out and turn a key?

You guys gave a $200 package to a random person that was not their name. Addresses are mistakes from time to time. You need to check their name if the package is $200. Hopefully I can get a refund from the seller and I'm not out that money.

Dishonest staff stole the items from our PO Box. Terrible hours of operations. This location is a stain on USPS's reputation and a prime example of a terrible government subsidized operarion.

According to the 3 USPS Tracking service notifications I received, my package was at my local USPS 37902, and then 10 minutes later, I get the last of the notifications that it was signed for at the UT Express 37996, by K Palam?? How do you just hand someone's package over if their name isn't on the package?? I've filled out to lost package forms today, that's after nearly an hour with the automated system. I hope K Palam is the mail carrier! USPS I know you can do better. Had to check a star for rating or else my review would not post.

Can’t call and speak with anyone. I had someone else’s PILLS, prescription pills in my mail box and I can not get any deliveries on Saturday. Also 2 packages scanned delivered and not delivered in the past week. Assured they would be here Monday. I was alerted when he scanned on both packages, I guess he had something else to do on Saturday evening besides his job!

My package has been stuck in transit for a week and the place it's from said "be nice!, but ask for an NDC to check on it, it is protocol" this guy had no idea what that was and wouldn't transfer me and said no one else would. It's for my 10 yr. Old daughter!

Walked in to this post office May 19 with a large box that contained twin mattress cover and a pillow. First thing the postal worker lady says is “I can’t mail that!” “I can’t lift that.” I asked her if I should go to UPS then she called another postal worker out from the back to look at my big box and he says to me, “oh I see if YOU are lifting the box then I can lift it and yes WE can mail it.” Then I asked the postal lady if she had any tape and she immediately replied, “NO we don’t have any tape!” (I know she meant the “free” tape but behind this postal worker was a whole wall of tape (fir purchase $3.99). All I needed was tape! Paying $3.99 was not going to break the bank but these postal workers had a hard time selling it to me and then the lady charged me and the postal man worker wanted to charge me again!! They charged me $124 to mail my big box and I received no smiles, no friendly greeting from ANY of the staff here and I was trying to make light if the situation but left feeling awkward and humiliated. THIS was a difficult transaction that should have been quick and expedited more efficiently than it was. It had now been almost One month later! And I have not yet received my big box (which is big so how can any postal worker forget to shipIt???) USPS — YOU ARE IN THE SHIPPING/MAILING BUSINESS —right!?

Live downtown and you will visit here a lot. They refuse to deliver packages to your building. Every package that arrives you will be FORCED to drive here and pick up. UPS and FedEx have no problem deliver packages to my building. If I could give it zero stars I would.

If this is main office of where packages are coming in, you don't need to be throwing people's packages around to other post offices. Our packages coming from NJ, & came to Knox, & you sent them to Nashville. One of them is there now in Knox & I've been stranded for 3 weeks needing that car part & you send it all over country. I live in Sweetwater, not Nashville TN. I am very disappointed & you're wasting gas & extra pay, plus time by doing that ignorance. Those Should have went to Nashville TN first & then to Knox, & then to Sweetwater. People need their packages & not wait on grandma's or grandpa's.

Called the post office to inquire about moving our mailbox to our property (since it’s currently at our neighbors). Spoke with DAVID who was quite rude in tone and attitude. He asked where it was and I provided my address. He again asked where it was and I told him the physical location. He seemed irritated that I even called. He put me on hold and then came back to tell me that I needed to discuss it with my carrier. I had told him I spoke to the carrier and he directed me to call to speak to the postmaster and I asked to be transferred to them (or get their number). He said that the answer he gave was all I needed to know. I asked if he was the postmaster and he said no that he was a manager. If this is the case, I highly suggest that USPS replace this rude gentleman. Unfortunately when I spoke to my post man he gave me the same answer as before. Very disappointed I am getting the run around when I am simply trying to relocate my mailbox to my own property/address, just a few feet from where it currently stands, as it needs to be replaced due to its age/weathering.

So far I have been calling all morning and it just rings until it finally goes to busy signal. My post was thrown at my door. My box is over a block away from my house, I not only can not see it. My daughter is disabeled so i have to get her in the car and drive just to check my mail. None of this is ok. I will be going to the post master and fully exspect him to give permission to move my box. Maybe even get a descent delivery since we have yet to. I tried to talk to the delivery driver he said I am not allowed to move my box. I informed him of my daughter's disability and he said it wont matter it may change his route. I wouldn't have bought this home if I had a clue that this post office is worse than the last one that is being closed now. Because, we people got tired of thiese kinds of actions.

Im sorry but the postal service is a big disappointment. I paid for 3 day shipping back in November to send an item to Ohio from Tennessee. It went out west and then back, then to Ohio. Took 12 days. SMH. Now I have a package that contains Christmas presents sitting at the Knoxville location for 4 days now. I called and all they could say was they are backed up and working as fast as they can. Heck I can go pick it up faster than they can deliver it, but I bet they cant find it and that is why its not being delivered.
