Cellular Sales is a private company. It is not Verizon. It has specialized teams at County Fairs. The fair team told me they are a Verizon National team and can do more for me than Verizon stores can. They represented themselves a Verizon employees specializing in trading up your phone. In my experience they are predatory, discriminate against seniors, sell surplus older cellular phones while telling you they are selling you the latest most current cell phones. The phones are open box. As such they should be discounted, as they have been sold before and returned. They don't offer you the current Verizon promotions. They tell you they are giving you for free a case and liquid glass (a form of cover , when they actually charge you for these. They work on commission and the more money they can charge you the more money they make. They gave me only one document over the two days they couldn't transfer all the information from our old phones. They said it would take only 45 minutes to transfer data from our old phones to the new phones It took two days and still not all data transferred. The contract that you sign on their pad, that they never give to you, says they are not responsible for data that doesn't transfer. They said nothing about it being our responsibility to wipe our phones clean before finalizing the sale. They took our phones with all the data still on them. They had us look at long fine print forms on a tablet and sign the forms, but didn't give us copies of them. The fine print tablet forms (contracts) would take about 2-3 hours to read and comprehend if they were given to you which they are not. They sold us, unaware to us, last year's out of the box phone while saying it is the latest most current Samsung phone that just came out this year, the Ultra. They sold us an older (last year's) S22 Ultra which has only 128 GB. This year's S23 Ultra starts at 256 GB. Maybe that is why all data didn't transfer, as there was more than 128 GB on our old phones, which had an extra SD cards for more storage. They also kept our extra SD cards which we paid for as an accessory. The trade-in value for a S23 Ultra from Verizon was a discount of $1,000.00. The trade-in value the fair team gave us for the S22 Ultra was $74.00. This is money out of our pocket and into Cellular Sales. Cellular Sales private company only allows you to speak with the employee answering the phone. That person tells you can't go higher than them and will give you no information about anyone higher than them as it is their private company policy. The BBB gives them a one star rating and has about 100 complaints closed a year, but doesn't say how many complaints they couldn't close. If you see a Cellular Sales booth at a fair, run away as fast as you can.

I cannot speak on behalf of every department or person working at this company but if you see a posting for an “ work from home outbound sales rep “ please steer very clear or the notifications department at all cost. The department has unfortunately went down hill within the past 3 months and is ran by incompetent management and team leads. You will be fired due to your managers negligence and dishonesty and or forced to quit due to retaliation from higher ups. Save yourself the disappointment and apply elsewhere. This company preaches so much about being family but the notifications department is full of snakes - beware.

Two weeks ago I scheduled an interview for today. I showed up, interviewer didn’t. Have spent the past 5 hours trying to get in touch with Abby Marks. I was able to track down someone else in her dept who said Abby had technical difficulties, but in trying to find a phone number for her I see she was posting on Facebook at same time she should have been interviewing me. ???What kept her from calling me immediately when she had this difficulties? How does a company have an HR Dept that isn’t envolved in the hiring process but refers me to the HR Director instead to address the problems with my skipped interview appointment?Sounds to me they need a lesson in accountability.Sounds like they also need to create a post to hire a reliable recruiterI can only imagine how they treat customers if this is how they deal with prospective employeesMy advise is a soup can and string as opposed to their phone service

I would give zero stars if that was an option. Brian Smith, our salesman completely scammed us. We switched carriers for better service and was lied to about terms of paying off a new phone. It’s a shame that he represents this company. When you are asked to sign here, read EVERYTHING, do not take your salesman word for what you are signing because at the end of the day, they will tell you anything and will not deal with the consequences because they have your signature. For countless weeks we have tried resolving the issue with Cellular Sales/Verizon and they are not willing to make this right. Shame on this company for allowing an employee to engage in fraudulent activity with customers.

I wish there was a way to give negative stars along with the negative reviews. This company CONDONES the ABUSE OF ELDERS. A sales rep in one of the Houston Tx store locations KNOWINGLY tried to sell a higher tier phone worth Al most twice as much, while promising the standard version. This issue was sent to 2 individuals who claimed to be call center managers, Jenna and Hali. Mind you, unlike Verizon direct, there is no way to file a complaint directly with executive management. So they leave business ethics decisions to their minimum wage, minimum work “managers.” I would recommend all Verizon customers to stay far away from this company and deal with Verizon direct stores.A FEDERAL abuse claim has been filed, as has a complaint with the BBB. Their location TV station is also being made aware of it. And a team has been assembled to stand in public areas a close to their stores as possible to hold signed and deter people from subjecting themselves to this abusive company.I hope both the BBB and the federal government bring this company to their knees.

4.75 HOURS TO ACTIVATE 2 LINES AND MOVE 4 LINES FROM SPRINTI cannot recall the last time I had such a horrible customer service experience. My family and I went to the store located at 4828 S Moorland Rd, New Berlin, WI yesterday today at 12:30 to activate our account, activate 2 new phones, and move 4 lines over – the entire experience took almost 5 hours to complete was we were treated with complete disrespect. COMPLETE DISRESPECT !!!We walked in and John offered to help, and with John only being with the company 2-3 months, he continually struggled to get the transaction completed. I understand that he is newer, and was as patient as I could be, as he stopped the process numerous times to ask questions on how to proceed with our transaction – after 2.5 hours and no progress made, and after numerous questions – nobody offered to help, assist, or take over the transaction, leaving John alone to struggle and us to wait and wait and wait.I was then approached by a Dan – he was approximately 5’6”, Caucasian, reddish short hair the a trimmed beard. Dan is the most condescending arrogant individual I have encountered in a very long time. Dan demanded the I remain seated, which I cannot do for extended periods of time due to a knee disability, which was explained to him, however he did not care. He demanded that if I had to stand, I had to comply by going outside at - 49 degrees and I did not bring the appropriate attire as thought I could remain inside for the 2 hours I anticipated the transaction would take. Dan, in his condescending and arrogant voice stated that it is ‘normal’ of this type of transaction to a long time and pointed to another family that was conducting a similar transaction – oddly, their transaction started 1.5 hour after ours and only took 1.5 hours to complete. Finally after 4 hours and little progress made, Dan assisted John and our transaction started making progress, and we left the store at 5:12 PMCan you please explain to me why the staff at the location would let John struggle through our transaction AND allow us to wait for HOURS without offering help to John and assist in our transaction? Can you please explain why a condescending arrogant individual is allowed to be customer facing? Can you please explain to me the company policy that requires people with disabilities to only stand outside the facility when needed. Can you please explain to me why the staff would require disabled individuals NOT prepared for the weather to stand outside at 49 degrees. Is it the expectation that activating 2 lines and porting over 4 that the process takes 5 hours?

Promises made. Promises broken.Cellular Sales is a thinly disguised scam. Customer service is a shell game. Pass the buck until the customer is worn out and stops trying

I worked for Cellular sales a couple years back. It was a solid job. I enjoyed the atmosphere and people I worked with. This has nothing to do with my working there though.I was reading these reviews, as I am navigating the website finding a contact at corporate. Which was fairly easy to find. I decided to read the reviews.I am sorry but a very fair amount of the bad experiences people explained on here are literally of there own doing. Cellular sales is a Premium Retailer and does not set the rules for Trade ins, Return periods or cost of plans. There is a thing called terms and conditions that for anything you sign up for. Might help a lot of you to read those. A sales person can only explain and tell people so much. Not to mention 60-70% of what the customer is told is never heard.Moral of the story. Cellular in general has been around for a couple decades now days and most common folk have had phones for at least 15-20. So if you do not do your own do diligence before you invest in something that costs close to $10,000 every 2 years for a family of 4. then you probably should not have a cell phone in the first place.People, everyone blames someone now days. Be accountable for your own decisions and lack of research or understanding. Good luck when you go buy a car! I hope you research

RECENTLY, I PURCHASED A 5G SAMSUNG S20 FROM A CELLULAR SALES LOCATION IN TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA. THE PHONE WAS PURCHASED IN SEPT 2020. THE PHONE STARTED GIVING ME PROBLEMS ABOUT 1 MONTH AGO. I PURCHASED THE EXTENDED SERVICE PLAN WHEN BUYING THE PHONE. I HAVE SPENT SEVERAL HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH VERISZON, CELLULAR SALES, AND ASURION TO GET THIS PROBLEM RESOLVEDWITHOUT ANY SUCCESS. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DEALING WITH EACH OF THESE COMPNAIES AND IT WILL BE MY LAST. VERIZON CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST AND CELLULAR SALES HAS DISTRICT MANAGERS WHO DONT BOTHER TO RETURN MY CALLS. OVERALL, I HOPE THAT OTHERS READ MY MESSAGE...buyers beware!! THIS IS THE WORST PHONE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. IF ANY ATTORNEYS SEE THIS AND WANT TO PURSUE LEGAL ACTION, I HAVE REQUESTED FULL TRANSCIPTS OF MY PHONE CONVERSATIONS AND TEXTED MESSAGING.
