“My boyfriend and I took our fur baby this morning due to a scratch in his eye. The vet and vet tech did amazing. They didn’t rush, and I could tell they love animals. They were also very honest and up front with the cost.
It was so nice to be able to go on a weekend especially when you work a 9-5. We will definitely be back for normal checkups too. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“When our normal vets front office staff was less than accommodating (called on Monday, appointment no earlier than Friday) for the swelling of our dogs abdomen. I called Admiral Veterinary Hospital and they scheduled our dog for the next morning. Our dog had never been seen in their office before. They also stated they would make our dog a priority on their cancellation list, and they did. There was a cancellation the same day I called. Our dog was able to see Dr.Hickey that afternoon and get on the medication needed to give us a few more days with her. I was blown away with the customer service from the front door, all the way to the doctor. Amazing place, wonderful people.”
“I have been going to this vet (on Mill Road) for 4-5 years. What really makes this vet stand out is the staff. I recently went to pick up my dogs heart medicine and saw that a staff member Michelle passed. I just wanted to say for me, she made that vet hospital. I would call to refill my pets prescription and she would always know my pet and ask how they were progressing. When I called with an emergency with their breathing she would always fit them in and shared my concerns. I trust my pets going here because the staff actually care and she will be greatly missed.”

They took incredible care of our previous Cairn Terrier, Roscoe, treating him through diabetes and later thyroid cancer with so much knowledge, compassion, and thoroughness. I always felt confident he was in the best hands possible.
When the time came to say goodbye to Roscoe, the entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can go through. Their compassion truly meant a lot to us.
After taking a couple of years, we recently welcomed a new Cairn Terrier puppy into our lives, and there was no question who we trusted to care for him. Village Vet was our first and only choice. “Dr. Biel and Dr. Russell are fantastic, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, reasonable, and absolutely willing to answer questions and concerns. The front office staff and vet techs are incredibly nice, and do an excellent job.
I've been going here for abt 2 yrs, and I have recommended this practice to EVERYONE.
They go ABOVE AND BEYOND.
A year ago, I found an injured kitten in the road, clearly just recently hit or thrown from a car. He needed immediate medical care. My dog had recently had a 10k ER STAY at another vet, and there was no way I could afford another giant ER bill so soon, especially on an animal that wasn't even mine. But, there was no way I was leaving him in the road. So, I grabbed him up, and called Vol Vet. They knew me from my biweekly visits with my own dog for follow up, and my recent vet hx. They agreed to take the kitten on and see what they could do for him. He ended up recovering, and one of the vet techs adopted him since my dogs are not cat-safe.
These are, seriously, the BEST PEOPLE.”

“Bella, a lab rescue has had high anxiety in her going to the vet, due to past clinics and my own learning.
But in 2023, I called Forest Park Animal Clinic and they welcomed Bella even with my concerns. For the last three years or so, Dr. Seth Patterson has been an impeccably, kind medical professional for Bella and her family. The doctor helped with emergencies, all of her vaccinations and been an example to care for the care of Bella, over any other issues.
He also advocates, educates for her wellness plans with goals for her being on a healthful schedule with her checkups. The prices are reasonable too.
I recommend Dr. Patterson, his colleagues and his wonderful staff. Bella was seen yesterday and she now has new community and can continue some of her romps with all of her walks and visits to daycare and boarding when I have to leave her for a day or so.
Thankful for the wonderful Forest Park Animal Clinic, for Knoxville’s families !”

“One of my dogs was vomiting and they told me to come in 20 minutes. Dr. Hilla ran bloodwork and diagnosed him quickly and gave him some injections and sent us home with 2 prescriptions. Our dog was much improved and is eating well and no more vomiting. I appreciate Dr. Hilla and his staff so much for seeing us so quickly and getting Petey feeling better.”
“The place smells clean and fresh , the waiting room is spacious and clean so are the exam rooms, the assistants and vets listen and take the time to hear your concerns. The only thing that needs improvement is keeping your appointment time on schedule. Waiting one hour past your scheduled appointment is unacceptable. However its seems to be the norm everywhere you go. Even your regular human Dr's appointments. But dont you be late, your appointment will not be kept youll have to reschedule, make that make sense. Ill say this their prices for services are reasonable, and you get quality care I do recommend this karns Animanl clinic for your pets .”

“I'm beyond grateful finding this place. Usually I'm quite hesitant to go to vets. Most the time I leave the place feeling irritated and upset. Dr. Shambeau, had caught many things previous vets don't even mention. She was very through. Her positive demuner helps alleviate any concerns when she walks into the room. With an older puppy, it can be quite emotional and I can't thank Dr. Shambeau enough for letting me leave with a peice of mind and feeling like a good pet owner.”

They addressed my concerns, did testing and developed a plan the same day. 10/10!”

“These people care about your pets. Hearing how friendly they are and how they fawn over my cat and dog by name everytime I bring them warms my heart so much.
I have a big, scary dog and other vets on principle ask me to muzzle him for all vet appointment which I have always done. These vets are not the same, they took him, loved on him, did everything, and even told me that bringing the muzzle for his next checkup was completely unnecessary. They care about more than just your pets health, but their comfort as well. These people truly care about what they do and even though I have moved away I still make the drive just to make sure my animals see THEM.”

“My cat was experiencing a FUO (fever of unknown origin). He’s doing a lot better now thanks to the amazing vets at this animal hospital. We did xrays and bloodwork and they didn’t show anything abnormal. But they didn’t let us just leave without some sort of treatment plan. And they even called to check in a few days after visiting. They also provide affordable care, and are extremely upfront about cost before beginning any treatment.”
