SHAME ON WALGREEN’S ESSENTIAL PHARMACY STAFF
I have used this Walgreen’s my entire life. Even as a child.
No longer. Front store employees showed up during the snow. However, the ESSENTIAL workers in the pharmacy all called in.
I called CVS down the road and they said their pharmacy staff are essential workers so of course they showed up to work. So I’m changing to CVS and I hope whoever reads this does the same.

Please instruct workers to not say things about medication that they don't know. Sent my husband for chewable aspirin that I need for my pregnancy. He asked a worker if ibuprofen and aspirin is the same since his fiance is pregnant and he specifically needs aspirin. They said yes its the same and even walked him to the aisle and showed him childrens ibuprofen.
So she him home with ibuprofen. Granted, he should have maybe googled it, and we take accountability for that, but he asked a worker to be sure, and ibuprofen is not safe for pregnancy. Now we are snowed in and I don't have assistance with my blood pressure, since that's what I needed it for.
It would be best to direct people to the pharmacist if they don't know the difference or get a medication question.
Still gave 4 stars because my experience has always been good outside of what happened today. Please please talk to your staff though as this could be dangerous. Thankfully I'm informed and already knew it wasn't safe.

This has got to be the worse walgreens in the whole area. My Dr. recently switched to the location on Kingston pike. Its a nightmare to pick up any prescription even if it has been days since it was sent, I have never not waited at least 30 min to get my prescription. How can other pharmacies get it on the drive through? I hope my stuff doesnt get sent here by mistake. Not sure if is shortage of personnel or just poor hiring decisions. Please get it together.

I had dropped my prescription off and was told it would be filled on the 29th since I picked it up on 11/29 (controlled substance)last I told the lady that’s fine. Well I checked my app and usually it shows up in there and it wasn’t there. So I called asking about it and this female who answered the phone ask the normal questions. DOB and my First and Last Name. She tells my that it’s ready in Ga so I tell her no it’s not it can’t be because I have y’all the written prescription and it can’t be transferred she went back and forth with me and decided to hang up the phone. So I drove to the Walgreens now I am from GA. Working out of town so I have had it filled here before and Walgreens has always filled my prescription a couple of days early especially when I am working out of town. So I get to the store and open my Walgreens app guess what now it’s showing in my prescription list now and also showing it will be filled on 12/28 at 8:00pm so I go on back asking about my prescription and the girl says it’s not going to be filled until the 30th. So I told the girl exactly what I thought about the female hanging up and then she tried to start defending whoever it was that hung up on me. Needless to say I told her to give me my damn prescription that I wasn’t going to fill it here. No matter what I didn’t deserve to be hung up on oh and they wouldn’t answer the phone when I called back seven times

Horrible experience. I was picking up medication for a sick individual and the whole process was a nightmare. Sad part is they don't care and it's obvious.

Always down for a good trip to Walgreen's. My daughter and I go straight to the makeup! Walgreen's is usually really good at keeping up with and displaying new and trendy products that other stores might not have in yet, which we love. Definitely a lot of variety. There's so many different brands at different price points. (p.s. some of our faves are e.l.f., NYX, Wet n' Wild, Real Technique's and Physician's Formula.)
Plus they also have great customer service too. I've always had a positive experience anytime I've ever been to any Walgreen's location really💁♀️✨️

They don't refund faulty worthless gift cards that they sell. They claim you have to call the customer support from the company on the gift card. Why do they even give an extra receipt for gift cards then? I wish I could give zero stars

If your not open 24 hours then fix your status. I just got off working over 12 hours and decided to order food from yall. Turns out you're closed but it says 24 hours on every delivery site and on your Google. Very disappointed. I've not eaten all day due to my job an was turned down by a place that says it's open. Fix your times online or would you rather be known for false advertisement

I have had multiple problems with getting my meds. The staff is extremely rude. Iwas in the drive thru and the customer service rep stopped talking to me. And left the window. I will get my meds somewhere else.

Had to pick up a prescription from this pharmacy because my regular Walgreens pharmacy was out. A tech was sitting behind the counter and when they finally acknowledged me, a personal medical question they say had to be asked by state law, staying perched where they were, without the slightest respect toward personal privacy while people were there, loud enough where my wife heard a good distance from the counter in an aisle. Complete embarrassment and lack of respect. The tech seemed to be agitated and definitely didn't want to be bothered. Will never consider going back to this location for anything.

Over the past month, the pharmacy has lost several of my son’s medications even the nebulizer the doctor called in 4 different times in two days. I would get a text that it’s ready then when I go to pick it up they get deer in a head lights look because they don’t know where my meds are. I needed another script of my bc and when I finally got a text almost two weeks later about it and I went to get it they told me it was out of stock. This is after I get a text saying it’s ready for pick up. Do better you are literally messing with peoples lively hoods which should be illegal
