Normal Walmart

Today, Walmart managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of a seemingly good deal and turn it into a genuine crisis. Finding a gaming headset for under $40 felt like a win, until the agonizing hour spent trying to redeem a valid gift card with their inept customer service began. Finally, thinking the ordeal was over, I completed my purchase, only to receive the dreaded cancellation email an hour later. The headset, the perfect birthday gift for my child tonight, was "unavailable."
What makes this truly infuriating is the complete lack of empathy or willingness to help. The customer service agent offered no alternatives, no solutions, just a shrug and a promise of a refund that won't arrive in time to save the day. This isn't just about a canceled order; it's about a broken promise to my child and the feeling of helplessness as a parent. My past experiences with Walmart's gaming orders and their laughably misnamed "express" delivery service should have been a warning. Walmart consistently prioritizes its bottom line over the actual needs and satisfaction of its customers. The only way to guarantee a positive shopping experience with Walmart is to avoid them altogether.

What I like most about this Walmart store is how clean and tidy it is.

This is a second time that we have placed an order for delivery that it keeps getting delayed and ultimately never arrives. The store never calls you to tell you, they are having staffing problems, or anything else. You can be on hold for an hour and nobody comes to the phone. They are essentially sending the message that they don't care about their customers anymore.

Delivery service is a joke, they never deliver the right items and always deliver broken eggs. Questionable customer service. Curbside pickup is the same way. It’s obvious that management does not do their jobs.

Nick in the tire center went out of his way to check my battery and replace it right before they closed. I’m extremely thankful for his excellent service and even though he had do do another vehicle he still stayed and did mine! Excellent customer service and he was so kind!

In the last two weeks I have shopped at the Chapman Highway location four times. Two times were between 1 pm and 3 pm, and two times were between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. The 1 to 3 pm vists was not crowded and almost all of the self checkout stations were open, but the 4:30 -5:00 pm visits about 90 percent of self checkout were closed but only two checkouts with a cashier. It is very frustrating that a prime shopping time they decided not to take care of their customers. My wife prefers Walmart is why we shop there, I prefer Food City. I think I can change her mind if this practice continues. The manager should walk the floor at 5pm. There are a lot of angry customers. Hope you can resolve this soon.

Great prices, large inventory and a very nice clean store. Customer service was very nice and helpful with an item I ordered from the website. I really appreciated her help with the situation.

My friend and I walked in past two employees, gathered our items to purchase, and walked up to the registers where I was informed, rudely at that, that they were closed and that the announcement had been made. The announcement had, in fact, not been made. I know because I was concerned about it being close to closing and I was listening for the announcement in case I needed to cut my shopping short and check out with what I could find, but no, I wasn't allowed to check out with anything and now I have to go and try to do my shopping in the morning. I don't appreciate people wasting my time, but what irritates me more is this person who I'm assuming was a manager blatantly lying to my face.

I called to ask how long for an oil change and at the moment they said they had no one in line. I asked if I could make an appointment the lady said not for today. I came over and then I was told it would be about 2 hours before they could get me in. I said I would wait. Fast forward 2+ hours and I’m told it’s still going to take longer and they can’t tell me how many people are in line in front of me. I asked to speak with the manager, the agent called the manager, and the manager wouldn’t take the time to talk to me. The price is good. If you have an appointment it’s good, well kinda good. Everyone had appointments so they were waiting as well.
If the manager reaches out to me, I will probably update this.
