Weigel's is a family-owned convenience store chain with over 80 locations across East Tennessee, serving the community since 1931. The stores offer a variety of fresh, locally-sourced products including signature Dippin' Chicken, pizzas, and organic coffees. Customers appreciate the quick, convenient shopping experience and friendly customer service.
One reviewer had an issue with a malfunctioning gas pump that displayed an incorrect pressure reading, causing their tire pressure warning light to stay on for two months. They were grateful to finally resolve the problem and avoid any traffic accidents while driving with underinflated tires.
Other customers praised the exceptionally clean restrooms and well-maintained stores. The staff, including shift leaders Michaela and Michelle, were described as pleasant, friendly, and helpful in providing great service.
However, one customer had a negative experience with two new employees - a cashier who frequently made mistakes and a young worker who acted inappropriately. This reviewer expressed concern over the lack of vetting for these hires and said it made them reconsider visiting the store.
Overall, Weigel's is praised for its quality products, clean facilities, and commitment to customer satisfaction, though isolated staffing issues have impacted some shoppers' experiences.
My go to Weigel's! It's smaller, so usually not as crowded, and the staff has almost always been friendly and helpful. Great place for seniors where it's not crazy busy and not a long walk from the pump to get inside.

We just stopped at this location. The restroom is the cleanest we've ever seen in a convenience store. We greatly appreciate their attention to detail. I called and spoke to Michaela, the shift leader. She was very pleasant. Thank you for your great customer service!
