Great collection of autos and friendly, outstanding service by Inventory Consultant Michael Davenport. Thank you so much for the information and tour. I highly recommend Gateway Classic Cars for either buying or selling a vehicle.

From the moment I walked in the door to sell my Mustang, they treated me like family and discussed details that helped us arrive at a price that was good for me and the potential buyer. My car sold quickly, and they had a check waiting for me a short time later. Great, hassle-free experience!

I was interested in a car in their show room. Since I was so far away (in NC) at the suggestion of the sales representative I got an independent fellow to inspect the car. My first mistake since this "independent " inspector was apparently a friend of the salesman. After a health delay on the part of this inspector, I decided it was worth the trip to look at the car. I actually had a cashiers check in hand. The only request I had was to repair the non working wipers as I planned to drive the car home. This request was made on Tuesday with a planned arrival of Saturday. I was within 60 miles on Friday afternoon when the salesman texted me to say he had checked the wipers. He had not repaired them as asked but he said it should be a simple fix. I sent a text saying please have them in order by 12 noon the next day or reduce the price by 1000$ as I would have to have it transported. No answer. When I arrived Saturday morning, I found the car filthy with dirty cleaning cloths inside. The wipers did not work. The tires were completely worn out not even safe for a test drive. The salesman had contacted me just prior to arrival to ask me to send a photo of my check so he could confirm with the bank. I did not send it. I was the only female there but never asked if I might be the potential buyer. Extremely poor customer service, poor presentation of a car for sale, horrible experience all the way around. I wouldn't purchase a roll of toilet tissue from them.

Unresponsive - evasive - couldn't care less about their customers - would not call back - and management does not seem to care.

I had a great experience working with the team at Gateway Classic Cars. They were very responsive, honest, and patient. The car arrived when promised and was exactly as described. Would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them!

I would highly recommend listening to the other negative reviews for Gateway. Do yourself a favor, go see your prospective vehicle in person or have it inspected by a professional. I purchased a 1930 Graham-Paige that was advertised as a 'newly built frame-off restoration'. However, after receiving the vehicle and parking it in my garage, I was surprised by leaks from many of the components of the car to include the transmission, radiator, water pump, and fuel lines. The brakes also went all the way to the floor and were not functioning properly. I went back and forth with Bob who kept assuring me it wasn't leaking in the showroom (I don't see how that's possible), and actually insinuated it was the shippers fault which was completely ridiculous. It's has now costed me $711 to repair the leaks and get the car straightened out to where I can actually use it. I just got off the phone with Bob and explained to him what I went through, all I got was a "sorry". Again, if you're thinking of purchasing from these guys, do it in person. Otherwise I would highly recommend you steer clear of this shop and take your business elsewhere.

If you're looking for muscle classic or just something cool, this is the place. Swipe right if you're looking for an EV! You won't find it here. Real cars only!

Avid car collector or exotic and classic cars. I found a 1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC a few days ago on Gateway's Denver website. I owned a new one back in 1989 and have always had an affinity for them. That being said, I phoned and was told the car was in amazing condition and that the owner was a collector, himself. I made an offer and they immediately accepted it. That same day and time (around 4 p.m.) Gateway sent the electronic documents and I immediately returned them the same day. The next day (Thursday) I wired $17,000 to Gateway and told them I would be flying in on Friday to drive the car back to Dallas. I arrived after 4 p.m. and close to closing time. The salesman (Scott Yockstick) didn't offer to send someone to the airport for a ride, so I took a $96 Lyft. I arrived at approximately 4 p.m. Scott (salesman) remained on the phone and just acted as though I was wasting his time. Fifteen-(15) minutes later I was taken to the car and Scott didn't walk around the car with me, ask me if I first wanted a test drive, or anything. Just here's the keys and that's all. He was very rude and just put off for no reason. I asked for the title before he showed me the car and Scott and Jess (Showroom Director) stated that they didn't own any of the cars and that the consignor/owner of the car would be coming in next week, from out-of-town, to sign all of the documents effecting a sale of the car from him to the dealership and to collect his money from Gateway. Then, and only then, would Gateway send me the title so that I could register the car out-of-state. Finally, Scott pointed towards the warehouse and shoved the keys across his desktop. I went to inspect and test drive the car and it was bone dry empty of fuel. Not offering to ride with me to test drive the car, or do a walk around, I took off to a gas station, literally a couple of blocks away, to again get gas and test drive the car. As soon as I got up to 40MPH, the transmission starting slipping and the transmission stop moving the car forward. You could smell a burnt smell inside the car. I filled it up and took it right back, asking that they contact the seller and demand that he repair the powertrain or I would not be purchasing the car. I had not yet gone a mile and had been gone for about ten-(10) minutes. I recall looking at my watch and at this time it was 4:25 p.m. Scott (again, salesman) demanded that I go around the block and prove what I was alleging, because the car arrived in working condition, but had never been inspected by Gateway, and claimed they had no mechanics onsite. When I took Scott around the block he agreed the transmission was out and it was unacceptable. At this point it was dusk and I pointed out to Scott that the headlamps didn't even work. Upon returning to the dealership, Scott claimed the headquarters was closing in 25 mins and it was too late to call anyone. He didn't propose any solution or action. I asked that he call the owner and have him agree to repair the car or I was not taking delivery and not going to purchase the car. He claimed to call the owner and further claimed the owner refused to do anything. Jesse Cirasiello represented himself as the "sales manager" and said he called his boss and his boss said I had I purchased the car "as-is" and they would be doing nothing. I pointed out that "as-is" isn't a free pass to falsely advertise a car, make explicit and implicit representations as to the condition of the car, and/nor make it lawful for a Colorado to sell a car that is considered "unsafe to drive." If you sell a car an unsafe car with a slipping transmission, as-is, you must tell them that the car doesn't have a transmission or working headlamps. I fly home and yesterday (1/17/2023) we learned from a title search that the title on the car is not a "clean title" but instead a "bonded title" with exempt miles. Their odometer statement says the car has certified miles and the ad a clean title. Facts: 1) The dealersh

Drove all the way from Dallas to Nashville to pickup a black 92 Chevy 454SS. I always try to be careful about long distance buying and found a local mechanic to go and check out the vehicle before hand. He called me back and said it all looks great and good to go but would never email me the condition sheet I was supposed to get. I get there and the truck has several problems, they couldn’t even vacuum it out! Had way more ware and tear and had a huge dent in the passenger fender that was not there in the pictures. We think they paid off the mechanic to give a good report as I could never get a sheet from him. Brought all this to our salesman’s attention and he could care less and tried to make the body damage non existent even though it was not there in their own intake pictures so something happend after that and it appeared they were trying to cover it up. They could care less we drove all the way from Dallas and we ended up leaving and not purchasing the truck. Be careful out of state buyers, make sure to have the car or truck independently checked out and make sure you get the report before ever coming out to this place.
