About Poole Knobs Campground
Poole Knobs Campground is a serene and well-kept facility located off Percy Priest Lake. It offers large camping spots, some with great lake access and wonderful waterfront views. Sites include electric, water, and 50 amp hookups. The campground features a boat launch, operable grills, and clean bathrooms. The island is huge for walking and there is great fishing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The local police routinely drive through. It is a quiet camp with lots of wildlife and is considered a great value compared to other area sites. It is recommended to book early for lakefront sites.

Tent camping paradise! Me and my 3 friends stayed in camp ground 26. Clean, easy to find, everyone is friendly- even the Sheriff. Our site was right on the water and plenty of space for 3 tents and two vehicle and our paddleboards/kayaks! We will be back with the camper and kids and dogs!

HHonestly, I was at site number 39, which has a great view of the lake with plenty of shade. I have a shower and all necessities, so I cannot rate the bathhouses. I did see the camp staff periodically going through the campground to check on things. Also, I noticed a sheriff's vehicle driving through on occasion.

Bath houses were far and had to walk steep hills ....other than that it was nice for the 4 days 5 nights ...better if you check what spot number you are and how far restroom and showers are ......if your in a RV it's perfect all the way around
