“Aldi is our go-to for our weekly grocery run and has the best return policy! Denise, the store manager, is so busy yet goes above and beyond to look out for me as a regular customer. The twice-as-nice guarantee has been helpful to us a number of times if we have bought produce that ended up not being fresh, etc. They happily exchange the product AND give a full refund. Also, just recently I found a Lego creator set in the clearance section of Aldi Finds, but it was still listed full price ($30) when rung up by Denise. I asked her if Legos ever get marked down in price for clearance, and she told me she would hold onto it for me behind the counter. Yesterday (now several weeks later), she suggested we check the price on it again, and it was marked down to $7.50! It was such a great deal for my daughter's birthday gift! Praise to Denise for looking out for me as one of her customers. That level of kindness and customer satisfaction is a rare find these days!”

“I will give this store the stars because I have lived in Cordova since 2017 and this location has been my choice. I was just there about 20 minutes ago shopping and found a nice teachers planner. The planner was out of place over in the frozen section but it was very nice and I wanted to have it. I asked the cashier Lisa if she could tell me the price. Lisa stated, oh it doesn’t have a barcode and it may be one of our clearance items but I can’t tell without the code. All at the same time Lisa was placing the planner behind the counter to continue scanning my groceries. I asked if it was no way to be sold. Lisa then stated to me that if I would like to take my phone and find the item, take a picture, bring it to her and she could key the code. I did this with a smile because I could use the planner. Lisa smiled with great customer service watching me do so. HERES THE PROBLEM. There was a Caucasian lady directly behind me purchasing something that resembled a lawn chair pad. The item didn’t have a bar code. LISA ALERTED THE BACK STAFF TO COME FORWARD. Lisa then explains to her coworker that she needed a price check. Staff came to help Lisa to help the customer. I have only one question. Is Lisa prejudice? I was an African American woman in the store with a Caucasian man and did not receive equal customer service. Thanks”

“If you’re like me and hate being talked to when you’re out and about and would rather just pop in and out as fast as possible, Aldi is for you. This is a no frills grocery outlet. The prices are more reasonable than Walmart but consequently the stock is more limited. Great for produce, but don’t just grab stuff and expect perfection. Actually inspect the things you’re buying. It came from the ground. It’s not gonna be perfect. Also bring a quarter for the cart and reusable grocery bags.”
