Lakeland Golf Club offers a mixed golfing experience. While the course layout is generally well-received, the maintenance and condition of the fairways, greens, and cart paths have been inconsistent. Some reviewers noted good course conditions, including well-maintained fairways and greens that rolled well. However, others reported poor fairway grass coverage, slow greens, and issues with sand traps. The club's amenities, such as the clubhouse, bar, and pro shop, have been praised for their quality and service. Golfers have enjoyed the golf simulators and the new GPS-equipped carts. Overall, Lakeland Golf Club provides a decent golfing opportunity, but the course's maintenance and condition can vary depending on the time of year and other factors.
By far the best and only redeeming part of this course is the clubhouse and bar. The greens are atrocious and bunkers are completely unplayable. It’s a bummer because the layout is nice.
It’s ridiculous to cost $60+ a round for a course in this condition.

I live in Arlington and play here very often. The gentlemen that run this course are great people and we consistently have a good time at this course. Great local, hometown feel. Wish they’d bring sky dog to their beer offering!
