All they care about is MONEY!I have been bring my dog here since she was 8 weeks old, she is now almost 3 years old. This past week my dog has been sick with diarrhea and vomiting. I called the vets office and spoke with one of the doctors on duty (Dr. Robertson) Friday afternoon around 4:30pm. I got a quote from the doctor that the total cost of the visit would be around $200.00 with all the necessary treatments needed if I were to come in that Friday evening before they close at 6pm. I ask her for her opinion on if she thought I should wait it out, a day or so to see if it was just a bug and would pass (obviously she said it was up to me). long story short, I decided to wait but things only improved a little bit, so I made an appointment Sunday 2/11/24 at 12pm. They did the examination and came back to me with a bill that was over $500.00. I asked them why it was $500.00 whenever I was quoted $200.00 Friday. I was then informed that there is an "emergency weekend fee" that NO ONE told me about. I told them that no one told me there was a weekend fee and that I was not comfortable playing that much, otherwise I would have waited until Monday. The doctor on duty Dr. Hadskey tired to tell me with a snarky attitude, that it was a new thing they were doing and there wasn't anything she could do unless she called management. Which I told her to do. Oh, I forgot to mention that Dr. Hadskey told me the doctor I spoke to ON FRIDAY (Dr. Robertson) was charging me a $70.00 appointment weekend fee regardless if I came in that Friday or not because she just ASSUMED I would come in on the weekend. Mind you I was NOT AWARE of any of these extra charges whatsoever and if I would have known I would have waited until Monday or asked her why she was charging me an extra weekend fee on a friday. Regardless, of how late I called on friday, a weekend charge should NOT have been included in the quote since it was during a normal week day and she should have made me aware of these extra charges beforehand. Once I spoke to management (Dr. Infonta) She did take off all of the weekend charges on the necessary medication and waved the fecal test (which was nice) but did not wave the $70.00 appointment weekend fee. So what should have technelly been a $130.00 dollar vet visit, it was over $200.00 because of these extra weekend charges no one told me about. Again, these "extra weekend charges" is a knew thing they are doing and mind you I spoke to about 3 different people before making this appointment and no one told me about these extra charges. I feel like this a VERY UNETHICAL, dishonest, and misleading just so they can get more money. I told them that this is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth and that I didn't know if I wanted to continue coming here. They did NOT CARE. In fact whenever I walked out Dr. Hadskey said 'I hope your dog feels better" my response was: "oh, she will" ....her response was "Not if she doesn't get her medication needed" and walked off...This was my first interaction working with Dr. Hadskey and im am happy to say it was my last. She was extremely rude and wasn't understand to my satiation at all. Needless to say, after almost 3 years of coming to The Pet Hospital I will be looking for a new Veterinary office to take my dog to. It is very disappointing that after this long they clearly don't value their customers and only care about money.

When I took my dog there to get spayed they gave me a prescription for pills afterwards. My dog (a husky, a breed that has a natural susceptibility to seizures) was taking a drug that lowered her threshold for seizures. So yes, they day she came home from getting spayed she had a seizure. Yes she is fine and no it didn't cause her any complications.I'm happy nothing happened in that moment but what the hell. I don't know who did what sloppy work but that is unacceptable. ESPECIALLY when there was another option for her medication. Don't go here, go to Berclair Animal Hospital, they're the best.EDIT: This isn't my main account, this happened a few years ago in. No this isn't an error, y'all messed up. I just now felt the need to make sure people know what y'all are about.

This place is great. The staff was very professional and focused on keeping my dog happy during her boarding. The hours were great. I liked that I could pick up my dog on Sunday. It’s a bit expensive, but the facility is clean and nice and I liked the staff and I liked that I could put my dog out in a play group while she was there.

My experience with The Pet Hospitals in Lakeland was nothing short of exceptional, particularly thanks to the incredible care provided by Ashley, the Vet Tech, and Dr. Buco, the veterinarian. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew that my dog, Alex, was in good hands.Ashley greeted me with a warm smile and immediately made both Alex and I feel comfortable. Her empathetic nature and genuine concern for my situation were so impactful that I was moved to tears. It was evident that she wasn't just doing her job; she truly cared about the well-being of my beloved Alex.Dr. Buco was the epitome of what every veterinarian should aspire to be. His examination of Alex was thorough and meticulous, ensuring that no detail was overlooked. What really stood out, however, was his calming and gentle demeanor. Not only did Alex not whimper during the examination, but she also seemed to calm down slightly, which was an immense relief given her distress. The facilities were clean, modern, and well-equipped, ensuring that all of Alex's needs could be met. Dr. Buco and Ashley communicated clearly and offered detailed treatment recommendations, which made me feel confident in their expertise.I can't recommend The Pet Hospitals highly enough. I will never take my dogs anywhere else for veterinary care. A huge thank you to Ashley, Dr. Buco, and the entire team for providing such outstanding service. It truly made a world of difference for both Alex and me.

I dropped my dog off there to board while on vacation. They informed me to drop him off that morning, which I did, to get his reoccurring vaccination . The day before I got back (7 days later) I called to check on him and they told me they were waiting on shot records from another vet. I was very confused due to the fact that there was never another vet. They had my dog there for 7-8 days with no vaccinations and they never contacted me once. Come to find out they mixed his records up with another dog. How do you allow a dog to be around other dogs for a week with no vaccinations. Now he’s on 2 medications and my other dog most likely has what my first dog has due to the first dog bringing it home via the vet. I spent over 800 dollars for his vaccination and boarding for them to mess up tremendously as well as them being negligent with my dog. And the day I called which was 6 days later, they told me they will give him his vaccination that day. I ended up calling the day after to see if he was ready so I can get him and they informed that they gave him his vaccinations that morning. So not only did they have him there without his shot the whole day but after they realized there mistake they waited till the next day to give him his shots.

I want to give Kat and Jacob a high five for such excellent service with my little Boo Boo pup. He is generally not friendly but they were an exception. He loved them. So thank you for the best service ever.

We moved here about 5 years ago and needed a new vet; we were driving to the grocery store and passed their facility. We made an appointment and saw immediate caring and respectful attitudes towards us and our pets. About two years later we had a life threatening emergency happen on a Sunday. The doctors and techs (legitimately multiple people) gave us and our dogs what felt like their undivided attention. They were suppose to close at three PM that day. They stayed long past closing to stabilize our one dog so that he could be transferred to an emergency vet across town. As a medical professional, I have the highest level of respect for those clinicians. At no point did I feel they were leaving any details out; they were giving us the facts and though it was hard to heard those facts, I respect they were up front. By the time they stabilized my dog it was late at night, and yet there was still a full team caring for my dogs. One tech there apparently held my little guy for a few hours just to keep him calm. The doctors here made the transfer as smooth as possible- they called the receiving facility, transferred paperwork, made it seamless for us. The emergency vet took over care and the next morning we had a consult. The receiving vet said our dog was going to live with minimal to no deficits only because of the hard work, quick reaction time, and the aggressive treatments that were administered by this facility. They saved both of my dogs lives. I will never seek another vet- between their vet care, their grooming services, and their boarding, this is the only place I trust to care for my dogs when they are not in my home.

Found some kittens under my car. We wound up keeping them and The pet hospital gave them all their shots. It's really too bad they stop boarding cats. My cats don't really like being in the car, so I don't want to torture them going to Collierville.

I was extremely disappointed when I visited. My dog has severe allergies. Once a month, I pay a hefty amount for his medicine. I called to have his prescription refilled and received a text notifying me that it was ready for pick up. Once I got to the vet, they told me that they could not fill his medicine because a new policy was set in place. In addition to the $80 medicine, he is now required to get a skin test every 3 months. The skin test is almost $60. They did not tell me about this when I tried to refill my prescription. I now have to scramble to find an alternative medicine. I will no longer be taking my dog there. I have over looked their price increases and lack of communication in the past but this was the last time for me.

I got a new groomer who gave a choppy hair cut to my labradoodle. She was gone when I picked him up (early afternoon), so the next day she made an appt for the next week to bring him to be fixed. She decided to move to another location, so the manager "fixed" my dog. I couldn't tell a difference. He's still choppy, and this groomer was gone as well when I picked up my dog. (2 pm) another groomer said she would fix him, but she was already doing extra work due to my first groomer changing locations. My dog's choppy cut was not worth the high price of this salon. The front counter staff is very friendly and professional. I just had a bad experience.

After seeing 3 other vets (one in Arlington and one in Bartlett) I 100% recommend Doctor Angela Infante at the Lakeland Location. We have had nothing but fantastic experiences with her. She is knowledgeable and truly cares about the animals she tends! She is up to date on medical practices/research and does continuing research while solving the most challenging cases. When we go to the doggy daycare, everyone knows Ms Maggie! Not only is she excited but so are they! We love the new pet resort they built! Fantastic!

Pretty decent. Took my cat there for an issue she's having. I'm definitely use to the way pets and owners are treated in Washington State. Here they wanted to do a lot of the exam/procedure in a separate room without me present. It took some convincing for them to let me be the caretaker and hold my little lady. Price isn't bad either.
