“I recently had to bring my dog, a 14 1/2 year old Blue Heeler, in for a splenectomy, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the initial diagnosis to the surgery and post-op care, the entire team was professional, compassionate, and thorough.
After the surgery, Sasha was understandably groggy when she got home, and as expected, she showed some discomfort, panting and vocalizing for the first two nights. However, it was comforting to see that she behaved exactly as outlined in the detailed post-op instructions, which reassured me that her recovery was on track. By the third day, she was noticeably more comfortable—she even barked and laid on her side, which she hadn't done since the surgery. Now, just four days post-op, she’s recovering incredibly well and no longer seems to need pain medication.
I’m grateful for the excellent surgical team that helped her through this process. Their clear communication, detailed instructions, and genuine care made all the difference during a stressful time. Thank you for taking such great care of her!”

“Excellent experience at The Pet Hospitals Houston Levee / Macon. I was impressed that they could see my new kitten right away, even though I didn't have an appointment (kitten just rescued from a dog that morning). And Dr. Morris was thorough, kind, and professional. The front desk ladies and techs were all so friendly... I wish all professionals had their wonderful customer service!
OK, it happened again LOL! Another kitten rescue, less than a year after the last one (rescued from a dog). The newest baby was stuck in a truck. I had the same experience as before, nicest ladies at the front desk, Dr. Morris so kind and thorough, and they were able to check the baby out the same day. “My cat has been an absolute terror for weeks. His old vet chalked it up to behavioral issues and stress, said there’s nothing more she can do, and could only suggest rehoming him to relieve his stress. I wasn’t convinced, and I’ve heard Dr. Monica is a bit of a cat lover, so we went in for a second opinion. She listened to every single thing I said (which was a lot), examined Oliver thoroughly, and found a medical issue that could be contributing to his behavior (I knew it!!). I am cautiously optimistic, but I also feel very relieved that Dr. Monica is on our side if he needs more support.”

“I'll put it this way: this vet office is so good I really kind of want to keep it a secret! Reasonably priced, great staff, easy to get an appointment, easy to get seen quickly for urgent needs (during regular business hours), works with you when pets' needs and ideal next steps don't quite line up financially to make sure the animals get at least some care no matter what you can/can't afford at the moment. The only drawback is that there are no weekend hours, and it seems my fur babies always want to get sick or hurt after hours and on weekends!”
“Everytime I bring my dog in she receives a thorough exam and individualized consideration, and when she leaves she is either fully cured or we are equipped with a a plan to have her fully cured shortly thereafter. The staff and doctors truly care about each patient. And the pricing isn’t bad at all as long as you have realistic expectations. Don’t expect it to be $40 and bam your pet is fixed. Overall I have a great experience every time!”

“I have been taking my Sophie to Dr. Drennan for the past 5 years. My dog is a a Cane Corso and many vets will not accept her as a patient due to her size. Drennan always listens to my concerns about her care and explains everything in simple, easy to understand language. I love the option to drop her off before work for appointments and pick her up when the work day is finished. When you have an appointment, you are seen at your appointment time. Drennan answers any questions I have and doesn't rush you out of the office. He truly treats my baby like she was his, and I appreciate his kindness and professionalism. Sophie goes yearly for her shots and wellness check-up, and almost every month for a bath. (She's the size of a small horse, and I refuse to cut black toenails) I highly recommend Drennan Animal Hospital.”

“We have used Wolfchase for our animals for many years. They treat our animals like their own and take good care of them when we go on vacation. We have no worries. I would highly recommend them. “Dr. Cardot and the staff at The Per Hospital Lakeland literally saved my 7 year old GSD’s life. My GSD had a routine spay at another vet and I kept feeling like something was off. After several visits with her previous vet, I came to The Pet Hospital Lakeland for a second opinion. Sarah, the receptionist, was quick to get me in. Dr. Cardot and her assistant, Becka, listened to me throughly. My poor girl had a severe internal infection of her uterine stump and with the staff’s thorough examination was able to do emergency surgery to remove the infection and got her on the correct meds. We are on day 6 of post op and my furbaby is doing so well! It is night and day between how my GSD is doing pre and post emergency surgery. All of the staff working there took such great care of her and I was already breathing easier with her health in their hands. I don’t think I can ever say thank you enough.”
