“Our experience with Heather and Jan, the owners of Dot & Lucy’s, was a true 5 Star experience. They are both, gracious, lovely ladies and their event space is so well appointed. The way they take you through the process from beginning to end is exceptionally efficient. The venue is lovely, provides a good prep space, wonderfully expansive serving bar and the feel inside is one of rustic elegance. I highly recommend using Dot and Lucy’s for the special occasions in your life!”

“This is truly a special place. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food is tasty. The establishment employs special needs people, and gives them a safe and friendly place where they can work. When we went there, we got the grilled cheese flight, Monte Cristo, some chips, and a couple drinks.Overall the food was good. For the most part, the flight was upgraded grilled cheeses. The chips and drinks were generic, but you're not going there for those. You're going to a place like this for the sandwiches and for the cause. We liked both, and will be back!”

“Over the years, I have attended many events at Oaklands and have always loved visiting! The home stands in the heart of Murfreesboro's downtown and gives a step back in time to the Civil War era, while providing historical snapshots of Murfreesboro through the years. The staff here is great, and I always leave having learned something new. The gift shop is full of great local gift items. IN addition to the museum and visitor's center, the grounds are a great spot for photos.”

“What a fun and exciting place to take the family. We went and watched the Nuncracker! We thought it was going to be the Nuncracker but we missed read the sign. It was hilarious! The cast was great and we had a great time! Ticket prices are very reasonable also.”

“The Fountains at Gateway has some amazing views of Murfreesboro. Their facilities are generally clean and well maintained. The event staff have been helpful with New Vision Men's groups regular meetings over the past 6 months as we await our new facilities that are under construction. “Easy and fast front desk service, very helpful staff. The rooms were clean and very nice. Large about of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the large shower. Glass doors and tile has a sleek look and feel. Nice pressure from the adjustable shower head. Breakfast was really good. Eggs, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, toast, juices, fruit, cereal, coffee etc. All prepared fresh and attended very well. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel, we had great stay.”

“Absolutely the place to go for Indian food in Murfreesboro! Been here several times for dinner and the buffet and it never disappoints. So many options at the lunch buffet, all at ideal spice levels and super fresh. Dinner is amazing as well and I love to get a few curry options and split with the table family style. It’s a must-visit when it comes to locally owned restaurants!Vegetarian options: Chickpea curry and potato curry are delicious!”

“Stayed here on a business trip. The first room we were put in had cockroaches crawling out from under the fridge. When we told the girl at the front desk about it and asked for a better room due to the roaches we were told we would have to cover any additional cost of an upgrade, this was after first being told the other rooms were "unavailable" but finding out quickly on the website that they were available. We travel quite often and have never been told we would have to cover any cost for an upgrade due to severe issues with a room. We did get moved to a new room just down the hall, but it smelt like someone spilled a whole bottle of perfume in it so we were put next door to that room, but they were the same layout as the previous room. There is a $50 incidental, and what doesn't get told to you upon check in is if you booked more than 7 days you get an additional $83 added to that pre-authorization. Other than the cockroaches, the rooms are pretty sound proofed, and our car didn't get broken into so I would assume it's a pretty safe area. Hot water starts to runs out after about 10 min in the shower, and the dishwashers sound like a freight train when they're running so you can't run them at night. The floors were swept, but turned our feet black within an hour of being in the room. For $100+ a night there is also no breakfast. For being a IHG hotel we definitely expected way better. Here's to hoping we didn't bring any creepy crawlies home.”
