Purchased shoes. Getting swarmed by a worker the moment you walk in the door is a little uncomfortable when you're just going in the look. You feel obligated to buy something because they don't leave you alone.

Bought two pairs of shoes from here Brooks and Addidas Ultra Boosts they had to order them didn’t have them in stock. ( a common size 11 1/2 which they never have any in stock I might I add). But no biggie… I order the shoes and paid with my card on a Monday. 1 pair came in on a Wednesday but the other pair wasn’t in yet but I wanted wear the one pair that night so I went to pick them up only to be told that I couldn’t have the shoes until the other pair came in. “So your telling me I can’t pick up the shoes I’ve already paid for that you are holding right in front of me?!? Yep that’s our policy she told me.. I was frustrated but oh well that’s life. Fast forward to the next day I go to pick up both pairs that are both there. When I get them home I’m displeased to find that the Brooks one shoe wouldn’t tie with out squeezing my foot to death so I adjust them and adjust them and finally I pull the strings out and one of the strings is two inches shorter than the other. I thought okay I’ll take them up there and surely they can get me some different strings only to be met with another bogus policy that they can’t swap my strings I have to either call brooks or go to Walmart and get some strings from there. I was disgusted and asked what the point of purchasing from you was? Of course they didn’t know and didn’t care. Upon calling Brooks Customer service they were very nice and also disgusted with the fact Hibbetts advised a Brooks customer to put Walmart strings in a brand new pair of there shoes that weren’t up to par. It’s obvious to see why this store isn’t as big as it once was and I’ll make sure to let everyone else know about there crummy business practices

Being greeted as soon as you enter a store (yelled from employee laying across the counter) and then not one of the 3-4 employees huddled at the counter approaches to see if you need anything as you (the only customer in the store) look and handle several pair of women's tennis shoes does NOT constitute good customer service.My first and last time in this store.
