We were so excited to visit Legends Briskitville because of the brisket. My husband ordered the brisket with potato salad and okra. The brisket was absolutely flavorless and looked as if it had been boiled. Half of the brisket was fat. The okra was cooked well but seasonless. I had the burnt brisket ends, baked beans, potato salad and coleslaw. The brisket was tender but so salty. The potato salad was straight out of a Walmart container. The baked beans were pork and beans with barbecue sauce added. The whole meal was so disappointing. The girls behind the counter were very sweet and kind. We loved the atmosphere but we just wish the food had been better. They may have other good food items but brisket isn't one of them!

Our first time here today and the food was absolutely amazing. We both ordered the Catfish meal, and it was so yummy. I got Cole slaw Mexican Cornbread and fried Okra, it was delicious and fried perfectly. Hubby got the same except he got fries and coleslaw. He very rarely eats the whole meal and he ate every bite but 2 or 3 of the Cole slaw. He kept saying this is really good. Teresa the cashier was so accommodating and very friendly and out going. Had a smile on her face almost continuously. The manager was very polite and even came to our table to say hello. I decided I couldn't stand not seeing what the fruit tea and the peach lemonade were all about. I asked if I could try a little of the two drinks and was told sure. Oh man I told my hubby I was in trouble after I tried the fruit iced tea, then said he was in trouble when I tried the lemonade and peaches. Well even though I was full I had to order the largest drink. Enter Teresa saying I told you they were good. Now if you want to really be happy, or blown away, I can remember exactly what she said. She told me to do half and half. I was like an Earl Palmer. I don't drink soda and so when I find a place that has a drink I love, it means I will be dipping into the cash fund to enjoy said drink I find. So bottom line is this, if you want a lot of food and it to be very delicious and an iced tea and or a great lemon aide, you have got to try Legends Express on Military in Lawrenceburg. Great food, 2 great drinks and the employees are very friendly. Which in turn means this will be my go to place to eat at a lot.

The food is good but twice now the meat was cold. The biggest problem is the music is so loud inside you can't have a conversation with your family. Sounds more like a bar with the volume.
