My solid white Persian Manx cat was in dire need of a "fur cut" and bath...the staff did a wonderful job and the price was very reasonable! He looks adorable!

While on a trail walk our Golden "Maddie" got a 3 inch piece of metal in her foot - it went in at least an inch in between her toes. Shoal Creek Vet Hospital took care of her and got us out the door in a very short amount of time - Especially considering we had no appointment, they are not her regular vet (as we were just visiting Crockett Campground). Highly recommend them if you need one of your fur babies tended to planned or unplanned.

I had selected this vets office because it's good reviews and it worked well with my work life. However when I went in for my appointment that was supposed to be at 11am, I ended up staying an extra 54 minutes waiting to be called back. we were able to come in the back after my girlfriend had to mention it. Our animal they were checking out is a handsome leopard gecko. They're not supposed to be out of a heated tank, and the pour guy was out of his for 2 hours. Once they took my lizard back they laughed and said it was because he was shedding. He hasn't been able to eat in a week because he's unable to see and has gone done twice his size that he use to be. Instead of helping him, they handed him over and said he'll be fine and give it a couple of days. It's been a couple of days. He still isn't eating and can't see. But there's no way I'm coming back.Edit: I took him in to All Pets in Springhill. Pour boy is blind and had an extreme case of bacterial infection. The guy had spent an hour with him getting all of his shed skin off. I think he'll do fine thanks to All Pets, in case you have an exotic pet too.

Over the years of being a customer with our dogs/kids, Shoal Creek Animal Hospital has been great to our family. From the treatment of cancer to another with a stroke, care was the best.Dr. Pitts was and is the best. We are pleased to call him our friend.

Loved Dr. Pitts! He was good to us and met us on a Sunday (Holiday Weekend) for an emergency. Made such a good impression that our next puppy, we took to him and switched. Great place to take your fur babies.

Brought my dog in for labored breathing when my vet was out of town. They did two X-rays and Dr. Pitts told me that in his opinion, my dog who is 4 years old, has cancer and wouldn’t last a month. He told me I could reach out to a specialist in Nashville but there’s nothing he could do.I was not offered any further testing, I was not offered treatment of any kind. I had to ASK for medication to help him breathe but in his words, “probably won’t do any good”.I left hysterical with my dog who could barley breathe and was just supposed to let him die. I called back with questions as I was severely confused on how he thinks he has cancer when he didn’t test for it. And dr Pitts said “well we can do more testing if you want but it probably won’t matter”. Why was I not offered testing while I was there and paid $235??I ended up taking my dog to an emergency vet that weekend when he was a gasping for air and he was immediately hospitalized for bacterial pneumonia. He has been to TWO other vets who both said the same thing, my dog should have been hospitalized the moment he was seen in his condition. Had I had trusted the word of Jonathan Pitts, my dog would have suffocated in his own fluids from pneumonia. He does not have cancer and he is not dying. This vet has a blatant disregard for the health of peoples pet and even more so, refused to refund the money I spent at his office for no reason, I got a measly $48 after harassing him for a refund. Will be reporting him to the board.

Absolutely the worst vet I’ve ever been to. Called for a quote and made the appointment based off of that quote. My daughter dropped off the animals and was up charged double almost triple the quote. I was never contacted. Very dishonest business. Will never use again.
