Absolutely abysmal experience. Went to reserve a van, and the website wouldn’t let me select a time when a human would be present. I was forced to use the virtual pick up at 6am.Horrible. I had to sit in my car for 15+ minutes while somebody called my “selected contacts” at 6:10 on a Saturday morning. According to my contacts, the calls were less than 20 seconds long and pointless. Before I could get my key, I was charged nearly double what I was promised when I made the reservation.Halfway to my destination, I received a call from UHaul saying that I had to move my car. I had parked my car at the farthest end of the parking lot. There were no signs, no communication that cars could not be parked…in the parking lot. I was expected to turn around, drive all the way back, and move my car to a space that was not available at the pick up time. I was then told that if I wasn’t back in time, my car would be locked behind the gate. I was charged for those extra miles.Van was perfectly passable.When I returned the van, I asked why I was charged nearly double what I had seen on the website a few days earlier. The attendant couldn’t adequately explain the charges, especially the seemingly duplicate “rental fee” and “rental charge.” I was also charged a flat “mileage fee.” I asked if this was the final total, and he said no, that “they” will count my miles and charge accordingly.At the end of the horrible experience, I was charged nearly triple the original estimate. I cannot stress enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with U-Haul.

The uhaul was horrible it bounced and vibrated the entire time it was moving i called uhaul and the said it was normal but honest review it was way out of alignment and acted like it had no shocks or suspension whatsoever

The store and equipment (enclosed trailer) were pristine, and the customer service rep was pleasant and efficient; I have no suggestions for improvement. Something that would be helpful is for Uhaul to add a feature to the website/app that informs customers who are renting a trailer all of the needed connection items, such as size of ball hitch and lighting wire adapter plug. I didn't have the adapter but the store had some in stock for purchase.

Horrible experience was told it would be cheaper to have an intown rental and it definitely wasn’t! Waisted time bringing it back and racking up more miles for them to charge me for! What a rip off!

I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to this wonderful store. We just moved here from Indiana. We rented a truck in Ft Wayne and returned it here. Our camper did not get here when expected, so we had to keep adding days to our rental. When my husband returned the truck to pay, they said they were writing off the extra days. Thank you so very much, you don't know how much we appreciated your kindness. We will definitely tell anyone looking to rent, you are amazing. Thank you doesn't seem enough. But we are forever grateful ?

If I could give a big fat 0 I would!! They are so rude. It took two hours to get the truck, I ordered a dolly no dolly. The man needs quit, retire, or leave. No business etiquette whatsoever. Please stay away, do not do business here if you don't have to. I'm paying your salary so be careful how you talk to customers. without us its no company.. check yourself before you wreck yourself!!!!!

Super nice guy running this place, and a whole lot of storage units here, as well as RV and boat storage spots. I am in need of a rental trailer, and he had a couple of enclosed moving trailers, a few moving vans and even a pick up truck for rent, but currently didn't have the open utility trailer available. However, he said I can request and reserve one, since I don't need it until next week, and he would have it on the day I need it. The only bad part is, this place is a little hard to find for someone who doesn't live in this area. Google directions did get me there, so I know where to go now.

Rented a uhaul and returned it. The poor truck was on its last leg, returned it with the same amount of gas and was still charged over $100. Tried to call several times and my calls have been ignored and no return calls. Do not rent from this uhaul location!

Must read-->> I went to this location to reserve a truck on 4/20. ZOE sent me an hour out of my way to another U-Haul location that didn't even have a truck to rent. When I called her to let her know, she gave no apology and took no responsibility in the matter. When I asked how I may be compensated for driving an hour for nothing- She replied with "I can give you your $50 no show deposit back." The inconsiderate nature, lack of knowledge and poor communication was disappointing.

Highly impressed with the staff and the customer experience.I was hoping to pick up a tow dolly in the afternoon and be on the road shortly after. That is usually asking a lot and rarely happens.In this case, the team at the Tater Peeler Rd location was committed to making sure I got on the road. They overdelivered and made sure my car was safely and securely on the dolly and got me down the road.These are the stories that need to be shared because people need to know when they have choices, there are some first class businesses that do what they promise....in this case, I'm 100% satisfied.

Don't rent a uhaul here they will charge you $20 If you turn the trailer in after hours and get you $15 for cleaning the trailer. And to make it worse they have no service you have to hook up your own trailer chains lights all of it no help STAY AWAY from this u haul location !!!!! Beware you will get ripped off never been overcharged by uhaul in my 50 years of renting equipment

I went to reserve a moving truck on 6/19/2021 at 3:30 pm at this location using the 24/7 share app. When I went here to start the rental process the owner/manager told us that we were on "private property" I told him I have a Uhaul reservation and showed him account and order number. He then proceeds to tell us that hes not able to rent any trucks at the moment because his office doesnt rent afterhours. I could not believe this guy. This guy almost made me lose it in an already stressful situation. So then I called the actual Uhaul company about this incident and they literally said "this is a unique situation" yeah I agree. In fact the representative that I was on the phone told me he was going to flag the location for uncoorporation. Fortunately we were able to rent another truck from a location 15 miles out. Never again uhaul. What turned into a simple move turned into frustration.
