Technicians are good, but front office doing scheduling couldn't be more inflexible. Home gas system is shutoff due to leak. Leak now fixed and looking for Thompson to turn us back on. Called at 4pm and their best-guess on when they could come out was "in the next 3-4 days". Next morning at 9am they call and say "we'll be there at 10am (1 hr notice), take it or leave it...if not, might be several days before we can get there". Neither wife or I are home, so a scramble to cancel her long-awaiting dental appointment has to happen.Thanks for working with us, Thompson. You take customer disservice to a new level.

Never had a problem with Thompson Gas so I’m a bit surprised at the bad reviews. They’ve been fast on deliveries (usually within 5-7 days) and they are super nice to work with. They do have a first time discount but after that it’s the same rate as everyone else. And although they are in Loretto, they still service our tank in Lewisburg. All good!!

I would do zero stars if possible. They broke contract with us, took more money than agreed, and a manager would not return our call(s).

IF AT ALL POSSIBLE GO ELSEWHEREExtremely unprofessionalMy husband called them for Emergency Gas which we were willing to pay the $125 emergency fee plus the original$304 bill for 100 gallons(the least amount you can get) the man said we were on the list for the next day, My husband called again this morning just to verify a time and the man said we can’t bring it out for 5-7 business days After Monday.He had called the office to find out if there was any other way and she hung up on him.This is NOT the first problem we have had with this company but it is the latestWe are told to buy the propane in the summer for the winter but a person can only do what/When they can do itWe have paid the tank rental 2 times in a year when it is supposed to be only onceAgain: GO ELSEWHERE IF POSSIBLE

Wish there was an option for no stars!!! Would definitely not recommend!! Very rude customer service and very slow! I feel sorry for who ever gets gas from this place because the people who work there do not care for the customers! I have never had such a terrible experience with a company until now! I have tried calling about an account, and cant get anyone to answer or call back. Definitely taking my business some where else!

Prepay has and then they will triple the rent on the tank you have had over 20 years! Buyer beware!

Very rude and overpriced. The man who came and filled my tank was unpleasant and got upset with me when I didn’t realize I couldn’t pay with a card. Then he told me he “didn’t know how” to light my hot water heater but somehow my husband lit it when he got home no problem. Now suddenly I’m being hit with an extra bill even though I paid the day of service. Apparently even though I was told a fee was waived, that was untrue because “they have no information on me” and “I should have called and let them know who they were servicing”. Go anywhere else for propane.

Overpriced and rude. Charged me to inspect my tank twice. Go to J&J, at this date they are over $.50 per gallon cheaper and do not charge an inspection fee. Clark's refuses to set up a plan without your social security number and I am not comfortable handing that over to a small business. J&J had no problem setting up an account without this, they trust their customers.
