Back in February 2023, I brought my VERY ill 10 year old cat that was throwing up constantly in to this vet. While I was uncomfortable with not being able to go inside the office with my sick cat (curbside only care), the vet went out of her way to keep me abreast of what was going on. She was concerned about the cat's sallow fur and her limp little body. I explained that she had been throwing up for 10 days straight. I also told her that my budget was limited. She said she could not give me a definitive diagnosis without labs, which I did not have the money for. The vet did tell me that she could treat her without labs, and did so with only an X-ray. She gave me a prednisone treatment for the cat to reduce the inflammation in her intestinal tract, and made a strong recommendation that I change her food to Science Diet Sensitive Skin and Stomach. I did so and am pleased to report that my cat is back to her old self, playing and eating like crazy- no throwing up !!!!! If there was a 10 rating I would have given this vet a 10 ! Highly recommend Countryside Veterinary Service and this vet, who I think is Monica.

Terrible! Simply wanted to get my dog's nails trimmed.... Since Covid, no one is allowed into the waiting area and you just have to park in designated spots and call when you arrive. Today I arrived on time for my appointment and there were no parking spots anywhere. I called and was placed on hold and no one ever picked up. We waited a good ten minutes before we finally just left... I have a twelve year old English Bulldog that can't sit outside in 90 degree heat to wait for something that should take 2 minutes. Get your shit together Countryside!

Dr. Russel and her assistant came out and helped with a rescue donkey who was very unwell on our farm. Although the donkey didn’t have a great prognosis, I felt they handled the situation with necessary precautions & thorough examination. We appreciate your quick actions and efforts to assist the donkey to becoming pain free. We have comfort knowing she was handled with kindness and gentle care. Thank you!

Countryside Veterninary Services Thank you for coming and helping me out with my miniature donkey. I called at least 10 other vets no one would come then a friend recommended countryside vet. I called and someone arrived within 45 minutes and helped my girl in the pouring rain. I would very highly recommend y’all to anyone.

I have been taking my service dog, our "regular" dog, and our cat to Countryside Vet for over seven years now. The veterinarians are excellent, their office staff members are always competent and are consistently polite and helpful despite how busy they are. The vet techs are knowledgeable, well trained, and love animals. They are also more available for emergencies than other veterinarians I've used. I am so glad to have found people I can rely on.

The best thing about living in Louisville is that we are so close to Countryside Veterinary. I absolutely love the care that Dr. Webb gives every animal I have ever brought in. She is caring and careful. I have even used Countryside twice for end-of-life care and euthanasia. The compassion here helped it to be a less horrible experience. I was able to be with my babies in their last minutes - even during COVID. Thank you Dr. Webb.

Our old TWH mare started choking during feeding this evening. We have never experienced this before and were very concered. Dr. Johnson and her assistant came to the rescue! They were at our home with in the hour. So pleased with the service our old girl received tonight. THANK YOU AGAIN

Dr. Caitlin Russell is wonderful - She came to our homestead for our Miniature Donkey Mom and her foal. This was the foal's 1st experience with a Vet - Dr. Caitlin was very gentle, loving and extremely informative for new donkey parents like us. Countryside's office staff is friendly and responsive. We will also be taking our dogs there from now on... We highly recommend them to anyone who has equine kids.

Never been treated so extremely rudely in my life! We’ve been so faithful to countryside with our baby. Then a freaking virus that went around has made everybody so freaking scared of their own shadow, everybody has gone plain stupid! The best thing for this virus is fresh air, being outside, getting the warmth and fresh air that Mother Nature has provided to kill things like viruses. So how does countryside hep is mitigate the possible spread of a virus? Come out and run
