We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in room 1. Its downstairs in the main house.Joyce greeted us on arrival and showed us the room. She gave us local information and recommendations. She is very nice. The room was big and comfy. The king bed has a great mattress. A streaming cable package and apps to access. The coffee pot is 15' away in the kitchen.Breakfast is just like grandmothers. It's very good. This morning was ham and cheese omelettes. TheEven though it was 90° outside the room remained cool. I never had to turn the AC in.If we return this way we are staying here.Nearby activities: The inn is a quick drive to the town square and the Jack Daniels Visitors Center.

Old charming home close to Lynchburg with very clean rooms and bathrooms and wonderful breakfast service. Joyce was an absolute delight and took very good care of us. Highly recommend!

My wife and I came here from the UK. Our only regret we had was that we only stayed for one night. We wish we had stayed longer. Our host was absolutely lovely, so friendly and welcoming. It was like being part of the family. The Inn was so clean and was really beautiful. Our breakfast was perfectly cooked. We will definitely be coming back here and staying longer!?Noteworthy details: About 5 minutes drive to town. If visiting the Jack Daniels distillery, park in town and walk over the bridge, make sure you visit the local shops in town. Parking is free.5 minutes drive to Jack daniels grave from the Inn too

This is one of those hidden gems tucked away out of the main town in the peace and tranquility of the country. Upon arrival, you are warmly greeted by host/owner - Joyce. You immediately feel at ease and see what southern hospitality is all about. The house itself is old, with a lot of history from 1808, but inside is immaculate with large rooms boasting a TV and bathroom. A scrumptious breakfast is served hot every morning. Lynchburg is not a bustling city. Sidewalks roll up between 5-6 PM. There is no night life! Take it easy and enjoy watching the fire flys at night.

My wife and I decided to spend our second wedding anniversary visiting Lynchburg and touring the Jack Daniels distillery. My wife stumbled upon this bed and breakfast and since I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast I was on board with the decision to give the Lynchburg Valley Inn a whirl. I want to start by saying our host Joyce was absolutely fabulous! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Lynchburg and she is an amazing cook!!!The biscuits and gravy was excellent, but the bacon ? was by far the best I've ever had!!!Very conveniently located, clean, and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Lynchburg TN. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in the fall and was absolutely stunned at the hospitality and beauty of the property! Stayed in the Pines Suite, and it was amazing. Beautiful suite, all the amenities. Well renovated! Joyce was the perfect hostess, even cooked us a wonderful homemade breakfast in the morning and enriched our morning with real, personal communication. I felt as if my husband and I were the most important guests. If I'm ever in the area again, this will be my go to place. Also got a personal tour of the main house and learned about the history. Please, if you're reading this, just book it! You will not regret it.

What a beautiful, historic home! It is so nicely decorated, feels homely and VERY clean!! Stayed with my sister overnight in room #1 and we LOVED it! The breakfast was tasty, bathrooms were nice and we loved sitting on the front porch. I was also told about Buddy The Beagle dog who lives next door and is Lynchburg's official guest greeter. He usually comes by around noon...See if you can catch him while you're there :) Miss Joyce was such an amazing host. If you're in the area looking for a place to stay, you won't regret it!

Ms Joyce is an amazing host!! She text us to remind us of check in times and even allowed us to check in early. The pines suite was very clean and well stocked. There were even sodas, waters, and snacks left out for us. I especially liked that the rooms have their own keys, the pines suit has 2 locking doors so that made us feel very secure. Hot breakfast made in the mornings by Ms. Joyce herself (10/10). The bed in the pines suite is listed as a queen but slept more like a full. The ceiling fan in the bedroom has a tick to it when it’s ran on high. However, if you’re like we were and need some sound going to be able to sleep, the vent a hood in the kitchen can be heard in the bedroom. Overall a wonderful experience. Beats any hotel I’ve ever been to for sure.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room and bed was very clean and comfortable. The proprietor, Joyce, is a hoot and is happy to share stories and information about the town and is especially proud of the town dog, Buddy, who stops at her establishment regularly. Unfortunately, we missed him but maybe next time. And the country breakfast was excellent too. Our group of four played games on the good sized dining table before hitting the hay. FYI - the town rolls up the roads early. That’s Joyce in the pic.

One mile from the Jack Daniel’s distillery, beautiful home built in 1808. Rich in history, and well maintained. One part is new and modern, and one is rich in history. Joyce is the housekeeper and is fantastic! She is very accommodating and makes sure you have a wonderful stay. Book with confidence !

Absolutely adored this place! Joyce is a first three letters of her name, joy! Stayed here for a few days for a birthday celebration. Toured the distillery and explored a historically rich town. Wonderful people through and through. The Bed & Breakfast was easy to get to, beautiful location, very clean rooms, well organized, breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were equipped with anything any one person or more could need to enjoy their stay. I believe Joyce has truly covered all the bases! Oh, and the house was built in 1814! So cool! So, if you’re in search of an awesome place to stay, your search has ended. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. Thank you Lynchburg Valley Inn! :D

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend while we toured town. Joyce was so sweet and kind. We were the first there so she gave us a tour of the house and history. We stayed upstairs and had all amenities, even down to a hair dryer and makeup removing wipes. Breakfast was delicious! We ran into her many times in town and she acknowledged us and wondered how our day was going. I can't say enough how great of a place to stay it is as well as how friendly the town folks are. We are already making plans to go back later in the year with friends.

Our stay there was fantastic! The beautiful 200+-year-old house expanded over the years. Joyce is an amazing person and took such great care of us! She gave us a little history of the house, we lucked out and had the whole main house to ourselves, as well as preparing our breakfast each morning to our liking. She's an excellent cook and even surprised me with a lemon pie for my birthday AND a birthday card! The house is about 2 miles from Jack Daniels Distillery and only about a mile or so from downtown Lynchburg. Big emphasis on "town", everyone we encountered was super nice, friendly, and helpful. We are already planning a bigger stay, more family, shortly! Check out their website: lynchburgvalleyinn.com for a better look and a little history of the place. Highly recommend staying in the main house, antiques, and collectibles everywhere!

My family stayed here for one night. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The house and property were beautiful and gave us a authentic "vintage" Lynchburg, TN feel. The rooms were incredibly spacious, the bathrooms as well. Our host was wonderful. She is full of knowledge and very kind. I would absolutely recommend this b&b to anyone visiting this area.
