About Peeler Park Greenway Trailhead
Peeler Park Greenway Trailhead is a quiet and well-maintained park along the Cumberland River, offering a peaceful escape for walking, cycling, and horseback riding. The paved trails provide ample shade and scenic views, with the chance to spot wildlife such as deer, hawks, and a feral cat colony. While the main trails are well-cut and marked, some off-the-main-path trails may require more navigation due to fallen trees. The park also features a remote-control airplane field, which can be lively on certain days. Visitors can pack a picnic and enjoy the benches and tables scattered throughout the park, though there are no playgrounds or restrooms beyond a porta-potty near the airplane field. Overall, Peeler Park Greenway Trailhead is an absolute gem for nature lovers, dog owners, and those seeking a serene outdoor escape.

A quiet park for walking and cycling tucked away by the Cumberland River. If you can arrange your visit, as we did, to coincide with Metro Police and Nashville Fire Dept. fishing a floater out of the river at the boat ramp, it's a real treat.

So naturally kept, maintained, and manicured. Superb views of Cumberland River. Fantastic sights of deer, vultures, hawks, and a feral cat colony.
