Janet was beyond kind and totally understood the many unique issues with my feet causing daily pain and extreme difficulty in finding shoes to fit my special needs. We found a style that made it possible for me to be pain free for thr first time in 20 yrs. Highly recommend this store!!!

Always find a great pair of shoes at SAS. Today it was my mom's turn. And my sister and I bought her a lovely pair of sandals for Mother's Day.

For those of you with problem feet, please check out these shoes. I have tried nursing shoes, high-end running /walking shoes with inserts, everything except the $500 shoes and supports that specialty stores offer. These are the best. Well made, supportive and comfortable shoes that will last, and I'm on my feet a lot. They cost about $150-200, but I spent $140 on athletic shoes recommended by a podiatrist that had too much wear within 6 months. Seriously, these shoes are well worth the money. They even have sandals!

I'm a nurse and I have plantar fasciitis and plantar fibroma. I have finally found shoes that relieve the pain in my feet, knees, and back. I'll never shop anywhere else. Plus, they have amazing staff here!

They have a nice selection, but the blonde woman working there does not know how to work the computer, and isn't my favorite person to interact with. The other day, I took a pair of shoes back (ordered online at the same store) that I had worn around the house for less than 15 minutes and decided I didn't like the fit of. She almost didn't take them back because there were two or three specks of dirt on the bottom of one sole--no other marks or imperfections. She made it very clear that she didn't believe what I had told her. Guess I should have wiped the bottoms of the shoes before I brought them back? Luckily there has been a young man working there (both times I've been in) who has been able to help me sort things out. He actually had to help the lady put the online order in for me the first time I came in since she didn't understand all the steps. She was also a little condescending to the young man (from my perspective) when he was helping her. I understand that not everyone is super computer-savvy, that the woman doesn't know me from Adam, and maybe she was flustered or had a bad day both times I was in there, but I would think most any job requires computer and people skills these days, regardless of the industry. I think it's management's job to help her by ensuring she has more computer training so she would feel more confident in her own abilities.
