Service sucks. Store a disaster. Selection awful. Overpriced comparatively. I used to come to Target because it was a much better experience than any of the other big box stores. Well, not anymore!!! They have the most random stuff freaking locked up (I am guessing due to the trash that this area has become), but it makes no sense, because on the end caps, they have all the same crap for the jacka$$ criminals' 5-finger discount pleasure. And it takes THIRTY minutes to get them to open a case for some freaking deodorant. It's so blatantly obvious that Target doesn't care about you or me or their employees or anything but the almighty dollar!

Everything is basically locked behind glass now. Went in for my shopping yesterday I would have had to have an associate follow me down 4 different aisles to unlock everything I needed. Way to punish the shopping and paying consumer because you can't control theft! Won't be back. Awful.

With all of the Target locations in the Nashville area, I really only stop in this one when necessary. If I have the time to drive to a different one, I will. This Target never seems to have as much merchandise to offer as other locations do. The store seems to be in disarray pretty regularly. I've never had any issues with the staff that work here being rude or anything, but the actual store itself is just not my favorite. I also love when Targets have a Starbucks inside, and this one does not. (It's nice to shop around with that delicious hot cup warning my hand!) So if you are like me and prefer a bigger Target with more to offer and yummy sbux, do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5 exits down Vietnam Vets to hop over to the Hendersonville Target instead.

Great store. Great value. Quality merchandise. Plenty of options. Lots Covid precautions. Always clean. Staff helpful. And they are progressive and open minded.

I'm not one to say great things about the corporate entity like this but at this particular location the staff are friendly and polite sometimes even have great hair and the people on the phone can answer questions and look to see if they have some thing if necessary, they're cool.

Came here since moving and most of the time it's really easy to find what I need. Also recently came back to go Christmas shopping and had a great time!

We came to this target just to look for a specific book and when we got there we went straight to the book section The website showed there were 2 in stock but it never gave an aslie number , we looked for about 20 mins but when we couldn't find the book we tried looking for an associate. We looked forever and no one was around. I wish there was maybe a help button or something in the book section for people that need help.

This Target was sad. I was trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, with it being just after the holiday season, but based on other reviews this Target has been sad for a while. We came in specifically looking for some things, most of which we did find, but we had to dig a little. There was an entire back corner of the store with nothing in it. I kept waiting to happen upon the electronics section but it was up front and pretty lacking. The grocery section was also up front which was confusing, and also lacking. They had the soaps and Home things towards the back of the store, the whole thing just doesn't make sense and doesn't really represent what a Target should be. Especially for this busy Gallatin-Rivergate-Madison location. This needs to be revamped and redone and will get a lot more business. It was scary dead inside on a weekday evening.

I was in a hurry tonight and I called ahead to see if they had something I needed, someone went, found what I needed and brought it to guest services I always loving spending ALL of my money on precious little girls clothes and shoes here at this specific target! But this!! THIS was a true life saver! Thank you!

Do not shop at the Rivergate Target. Terrible customer service and had nothing in stock that was on a registry and tried to tell me these items were only sold online. I showed them that the website indicated these items were only sold in stores and that this particular item was in stock at Rivergate. Worst store and customer service ever. I will never go back

I went into the Rivergate Target store specifically to purchase as baby shower gift. When I first entered the store, I went to the gift registry, pulled up my mother-to-be and looked at her list. I then proceeded to the baby dept. to make my selection. I could not readily find the item I had selected, so I went back to the service desk to be sure that this was the item on the list. The young lady was busy with another customer and seemed to be having trouble with her transaction. I asked her if my selection was the correct one, and she told me it was not. I then went back to the baby department to make another selection. When I returned to the service desk, I had another question, the young lady was walking away and told me someone would be there momentarily to help me. I waited, another customer came and we waited for approximately 20 minutes. No one ever came. I then asked another employee for help and got nowhere. FINALLY!!!! I made my purchase but when going through the checkout line, the young man who checked me out failed to take my item off the list of the expectant mother. When I called his attention to this, he tried and failed twice to get it done. He then told me that I could go on and he would get it later. This was after he told me he was tired and sleepy after working 20 straight hours. I will NEVER enter a Target store again after this service AND their bathroom policies.

My boyfriend and I have just moved to Nashville and have had a very stressful experience in our endeavors to assemble furniture. We had already broken a couple of high-dollar pieces when we came to this Target in hopes of buying something from display in order to finish putting together our modest apartment without any more added stress. We ended up finding a tv stand perfect for us, that was $250. We asked for assistance and asked if we could have the display. The MOD informed us that we couldn't, and it was also sold out at the store. The closest Target carrying the item was 35 minutes away. Dennis, the associate who had been assisting us with attempting to get the item on display, guided us to the back where there was a similar item for FIFTY DOLLARS. Not only did he aid us in finding exactly what we wanted, he saved us over 200 dollars. He was extraordinarily kind. People like Dennis deserve more recognition for their kind and helpful nature. I also think it's wonderful that Target donates their display furniture. Thank you, we will definitely return.

I'm a Target addict. I go to Targets anytime I see one. If I need ANYTHING, I go to Target. But this Target isn't in a safe location. The clientele make this a Target I avoid at all costs. I had a woman once stiff-shoulder me in a very open aisle and try to pick a fight randomly. I just gave her a look and kept walking. A friend of mine had someone try to snatch her purse IN the store, when Target security grabbed the guy. I've seen Target Loss Prevention guys (suit and badge level) hanging out in this store often. People that play at Next Level Games (next door in the same parking lot) have reported multiple car break-ins in the parking lot. I've witnessed people multiple times who were obviously trying to shoplift and had multiple employees hovering around them. This is not to say that the staff here isn't nice. I've never had a problem with the staff at all. They are always polite and get the job done right. This is all out of Target's control, but it's not a store I feel safe shopping in.

I'm usually not in the Rivergate/Madison/Goodlettsville area, but we stopped here one night after picking up an online item from the Best Buy over here. I'm really glad that this isn't my local Target. I know that the mall next door has been going down hill for quite some time, maybe that has rubbed off on this Target. The whole area seems little shady, and I've been in Antioch before. I guess this is an older Target location that has been renovated a few years ago. It is a smaller store than most. They do not have that many cash registers and the grocery section is nothing like the ones in other Target stores in the area. The layout is also like how Target used to be, with the electronics in the front, right corner of the store, the books next to that on the end. It was a little hard to find the things we were looking for in the store. We went near closing time and didn't see many employees or customers in the store. I don't know what it was, but the vibe in the store was depressing. It was like being in a Food Lion.
