Save A Lot is a grocery store known for offering low prices, making it a popular choice during times of high inflation and hard times. Customers appreciate the store’s competitive prices on food and groceries compared to other stores like Food City and Walmart. The store features a wide variety of goods, including a notable selection of authentic Mexican items such as Paletas (Mexican ice cream on a stick). Its meat section is well-liked, especially for its "5 for 20" deal and affordable prices on various meats. Many customers consider it a favorite, with some having a long history with the store dating back to the 1990s. Recently, the store has undergone changes, with rearranged aisles and a new layout, which some find visually appealing but initially challenging to navigate. While prices are generally comparable to other grocery stores, some items like Menudo, Valentina black label, corn husks for tamales, and certain coffee creamers have been temporarily unavailable. Customers consistently praise the excellent customer service and friendly staff at this location. Overall, Save A Lot is valued for its affordability, variety, and helpful staff.
The store was great. Had a lot of variety of things. The only complaint I would have is no wheelchairs for the disabled. I have a walker with a seat on it so I used that. If you have handicapped parking, I believe you should have wheelchairs for people that need them.

You get what you pay for, unfortunately with food prices being what they are, that means shopping at Savalot.
