The store is nice and all other than the freezers being out but my confusion is that the employee had her fairly large sized dog with her will she is working. Granted the dog is sweet but there are people that are deathly afraid of dogs no matter how nice they are and not to mention it’s a health code violation considering the store sells food 🤔 how is this allowed?

Slow, really painfully slow.
I live local and have put things back on the shelf and left several times because the line was so long and slow... did it again just now.
Note to the owner:
Try opening the self checkouts or staff for the volume of your customers.

Stop to get a snack and to use the restroom and was rudely talked to about how it’s not in their job description to hand out keys for a bathroom just because I didn’t go before I left home. I am on the road all day long and keep in mind the time was 12:00 pm. Very disappointed in people that are ungrateful for customers.

5/5/25 DG Manchester TN Gnat Hill Rd! The way I overheard the afternoon employees talking about their customers (I was on the isle over) was absolutely disgusting and unprofessional! I continued my shopping and I just kept hearing them and their disgraceful comments so much so I left much shopping cart of merchandise and left as nobody was at the register to check me out because they were too busy talking despicable trash about their customers to do their jobs! Do better, Be better!!

They never have anything on the shelves anymore. There's always racks in the middle of the highways full of product but not put up. Nobody putting them up but the cashier and she's bringing people out or he. Starting to not like Dollar general store

I wanted to give a shout out to Kimberly, and excellent employee. I was trying to find an iron and had overlooked it somehow and she took the time to make sure I found it on the right aisle and displayed excellent customer service skills with a smile. We like Dollar general very much and will definitely be coming back here.
