Extremely unkind and unprofessional CVS Minute Clinic employee on Foothills Mall Dr in Maryville, TN refused to fulfill my sick 9-year old's 1:20 appt today because we checked in the kiosk at 1:33 after sitting in traffic for a wreck then paving. (All paperwork, ins card, and payment had been previously submitted when appt was scheduled at 7a). She instead took the 1:40 scheduled patient early, then would not care for my child (whose temp was 102) because the strep test takes 15 minutes to process and she had 13 minutes left until her lunch hour started at 2p. Unbelievable. I am so thankful for all the caring medical professionals we know in Knox and Blount counties. We certainly won't be seeking a healthcare professional at this location again.

Update.... You get what you pay for apparently. Businesses are using CVS's insurance and it's the biggest nightmare I've ever had to go through. From Aetna to CVS, it's horrible which if you didn't know is 2 in the same.Need help? Good luck cause you're not getting any. My issue that began in January of 2022 was finally fixed 8 months later. The problem? Well, it depends on who you talk to. The bottom line though is that it is/was a system problem. I had to involve the employer in order to get it fixed. Ridiculous!!!!!Now, I'm running into another problem. My RX's no longer auto-fill. You guessed it, no one can tell me why without going through the blame game again. Customers fault, doctors fault, system glitch, etc. My meds have auto refilled since January with no refill problems. Now all of a sudden they stop! I haven't changed anything. My meds haven't changed. My doctor hasn't changed. In fact, the meds are just a simple refill without involving my doctor. How CVS is still in business is beyond me. Being forced to use ONE pharmacy is mind blowing to me as I'm forced to go through this stress. I simply can't change pharmacies if I have a problem. I'm at the point now that I can't trust that my meds are even correctly filled with the right medication.

Saw the minute clinic. They are clearly understaffed but even so the wait wasn't terrible. The computer check in did not work well and was difficult to use. Doctor was nice and helpful, but she sent me back out to waiting room then came back out to ask more questions about my condition (I guess she forgot to ask)-something about not being able to write a prescription without that info. Sort of embarrassing to have the doctor asking me about my medical conditions in the open, non-private waiting room.

I have decided to part ways with this pharmacy. I require a prescription that I can only take a certain brand of. I am allergic to the generic version of this medication. I was given instruction to give the pharmacy a heads up about a week before my prescription runs out. In doing so, this would allow them time to see if they had it in stock, or if it requires ordering from the manufacturer. I follow their instruction every time it is due. Literally something goes wrong every single time. I gave them a call on 1/12/22 to let them know I would need a refill soon. I was told that they were out, but it had been ordered, and would be ready by Monday 1/17/22. As of 1/20/22, I still had not received a text that it was ready, so I called to check up. I was told it was on back order, and was not available. I asked why no one reached out to me to let me know. The answers I got were; we're really busy, & we're in a pandemic. I finally found a CVS that had it in stock. I ended up driving 35 minutes from my house to a CVS in Knoxville to get my medication. I understand being busy, but when I have been waiting several days without any form of communication about this medication, that is extremely unprofessional.

Had to sit in my car for 30 minutes while they take their lunch from 1:30-2:00. Absolutely ridiculous take shifts if you want to take a lunch. No other places closes to take a freaking lunch! SWITCHING LOCATIONS IMMEDIATELY
