Don't Nickel and dime everyone. Never see anyone clean. Sauna has been out of order for weeks. Equipment not being kept up yet they charge a $25 fee once a year on top of the already overpriced membership for equipment maintenance. Plus you get stuck in a 3 year contract to hold you hostage. If they were a premium gym people would want to staying on their own for that length.

Do not join. Equipment is old and something is always out of service. The Sauna has been down several weeks now. Pool area floor is filthy.

I am a military member in Maryville for the holidays and decided to drop in for a swim. Myra is incredibly kind and helpful. The facility is nice and the pool is much better than expected. Thank you for helping me keep my training on schedule. See you next time.

Went there to see about membership. We stepped into the front lobby and immediately was given an unwelcoming look . Annoyingly the front desk guy asked ' can I help you ' I mentioned we'd like to check out the gym 'He then asked ' have you been here before ?" Still with super annoying attitude . Duh...Of course not , that's why I said I'd like to check out the gym.Anyway he then gave us a tour , as quick as possible. There's no ' is there any questions ? ' then led us to his office and gave us paper without explaining anything but circling pricing the gym has . Nothing about 'if you're interested you can try it , here's a pass before you decide etc 'None of those things .I'm a regular gym goer , but this kind of thing will make NOT want to be a member there. No thank you !

I go to the gym 4 times a week. The facility struggles with keeping locker rooms and showers clean. The spin bikes are 20 years old, half of them work. No plans to upgrade. The cardio equipment is old and in need of constant repair. The whirlpool is sporadically out of service. They don't have water bottle fillers, which makes no sense it is a gym. When asked why the upper mgt literally laughed it off as being too expensive.....really!!!!The saving grace is the fitness class instructors. They are great!

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Communication was awful, every person I ever spoke to was beyond unkind, and it took more than three months after moving out of state to finally get my membership cancelled. Would not recommend this gym to anyone ever. The facilities themselves were also not great. They just want your money.

HThe facilities were okay however the staff was very unhelpful, me and my husband were visiting family and wanted a pass that allowed us to work out for a few days while in town. The gentleman at the front desk informed us they didn't have any option for us, even after we mentioned all our family are members of the gym, the staff said they couldn't give us a complimentary pass or short time pass because we were not going to join the gym and they only offered those to serious customers. The manager eventually came out and let us have a one day pass and took our driver license for "insurance". We left on a rush when we were done, no other gyms take driver licenses so we didn't notice we didn't have our DLs until the afternoon and when we called no one answered. Next day we go to pick them up and the staff said "are you sure you left them here?" Without looking. Then they briefly looked at one box FULL of driver licenses which means they do this all the time and don't bother to call people even though they had our contact info. My husband had to stand his ground of not leaving without our DLs and they reluctantly looked in multiple places until they found ours about 10 min later. Surely we are very dissatisfied at the attitude the staff had and how we were not given any pass options considering my husband is in the military stationed elsewhere so we could not get a yearly membership in Maryville. Everyone in Maryville has been so friendly to us except for this gym.

I am a regular here and I love this gym! My favorite part is the group classes, BodyPump and Body Balance being my top two favorites. My son loves using the pool, too. I love the personal training option as well. Always clean, staff is welcoming and super helpful, I couldn't wish for a better gym!

Mandatory 36 month agreement, full payout over cancellation, plus $200 fee. The claim that they have 12 month or month to month contracts was refuted during the sales meeting. Kory, who signed me up, did everything to avoid plainly stating that cancelation = full contract payout...even when I sent him to fetch his supervisor. All personal trainers have 18 month minimum contracts (2x weekly costs $6500). If you're going to be a constant at the gym and money is no object, take the plunge. BUYER BEWARE.P.S. No doubt, a canned response amounting to "We tell everyone about their contract options and terms" is forthcoming. No...you don't. And from the other one star ratings...its clear that you don't. Your business model depends on not sharing that information forthrightly.

This gym is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your membership with. I signed a 12 month contract last year, ended up moving out of state but finished paying my 12 month contract. They continued to charge my card after the year was up, and are now saying I signed a 36 month contract. (I didn't) they are now telling me I need to pay a $200 cancellation fee, send a certified letter, and send a check stub and proof of address. I sent proof of address change in hopes they would just cancel my account. BUYER BEWARE. Unless you're going to be a lifetime member, DO NOT GO HERE.

Signed a contract for a family membership. Was told by the staff on my next 2 visits that they had made errors in pricing and I needed to sign new contracts reflecting a new price. I signed the new contract the first time but the second time I felt this was ridiculous. They claimed the way I signed my name was too messy and not valid so they were going to cancel the membership. When I escalated to customer service, I was told that management wouldn't care about my complaints. When I spoke to management, it was acknowledged that they had screwed up and that asking me to sign new contracts with language that was threatening (i.e. "We wont honor the contract and allow you to be a member if you don't sign the new contract at higher price) was inappropriate however there was nothing that could be done to remedy the situation on their end. After several phone calls and being treated rudely, I was just glad to get my money refunded and contract cancelled. Pretty ridiculous- I was going to pay thousands for a family contract and they were willing to cancel it over a $15 a month difference that was due to their error.

Things are alway broken at this gym. Steam room has been down over 2 months, 1 of the 2 urinals have been broken for over 3 weeks, 1 of the 4 showers have been down a week each for repairs, treadmills that aren't working or inclining, the list goes on and on... we won't even talk about all the extra maintenance fees they charge.

The staff here are great! No problems there. The facility is very unclean. It is probably one of the nastiest gyms I have been to. I have complained and they tell me they are in between janitor’s.Simply no excuse for a nasty gym. We pay way to much money for these conditions!

Class instructors are awesome!Facility has way too many broken items (steam room, jacuzzi, lights in bathroom) that don’t get repaired for weeks and months at a time. A lot of areas need cleaning (dirt, mold, etc… see one example below)Why are we paying ~$60 yrly maintenance fee in July.Desk staff great… upper management won’t do their job

Do not join ever. Staff is not friendly. Most people do not wipe off their machines and/ or equipment when they are finished, even after a pandemic. NFC obviously does not put the twice yearly maintenance fees back into the gym, as many machines need repair or attention, especially the pool area and sauna and locker areas. Also trying to cancel can be a real pain in the ass unless you call the corporate number and talk to someone with some sense. If you try at the gym, they will try to charge you for an extra month. I can truly see why many people cancel and don't go back.
