I have used suntrust for years. It has been horrible since they merged. This is the only branch left after hunters crossing closed. Always a long wait. Two people helping customers when there are four tellers. Drive though wrapped around the building. Twice I needed small amounts of cash I could get from ATM. Yet it’s it broken every-time. I’m switching banks, but of course they don’t have cash on hand to close out my accounts. It’s just a joke of a bank.

I WAS SHORTED $1000 IN DRIVE-THRU, I ONLY WENT THROUGH THE DRIVE-THRU BECAUSE I HAD A SLEEPING 1 YEAR IN THE BACK SEAT AND THIS IS THE ONLY LOCATION STILL OPEN THAT I HAVE ACCESS TOO. ITS AN HOUR AWAY FROM MY HOUSE. THEY WERE UNDER STAFFED, AND DUE TO ALL THE BRANCH CLOSERS THEY ARE WAY TOO BUSY TO SERVE CUSTOMERS CORRECTLY. I NEVER LEFT THE PARKING LOT AND THEY ARE CLAIMING THAT I MISPLACED IT.... I VOLUNTEERED TO BE SEARCHED AND EVEN CALLED THE COPS ON MY OWN TO PROVE I DID RECEIVE MY FULL AMOUNT OF FUNDS. SO THEREFORE THE BANK STOLE OR SHOULD I SAY “MISPLACED” MY MONEY. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXAMPLES OF HUMAN BEINGS AND BEYOND USELESS. HAVE HAD ISSUES EVER SINCE TRUIST BOUGHT BB&T.UPDATE 8/5 BRANCH MANAGER SAID THEY DID NOT FIND MY MONEY SO WE MISPLACED IT... NOT THE CASE, ALSO REFUSED TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE ANY VIDEO EVIDENCE THAT THE TELLER COUNTED THE MONEY OR PUT IT INTO ENVELOPE THEY PASEED THROUGH DRIVE-THRU WINDOW AS THAT IS "HANDLED BY A THIRD PARTY" WHO SHE HAD NO CONTACT INFO FOR OR ANY IDEA OF TIMEFRAME WHEN THEY WOULD BE IN CONTACT WITH ME.........................

First of all my bank account was closed, now the SBA sent my funds to the account that was closed. Well hear this my loan officer said they accepted the amount of $15,000. Why would you accept my money when my account is closed. Why not send the funds back? I've been on hold and transferred to so many people who work for Truist. As we speak I've been waiting 55min and counting. This is getting ridiculous. My next step is reaching out to my lawyer.\\n\\nVery disappointed\\n\\nI'm still on hold for 1hr 6min. After being transferred times . I'm going to wait. This bank doesn't care

They have updated a lot of things since I first left my review, and I honestly could not be happier with the service I have gotten from the SunTrust 411 branch. I have had a personal account with them for nearly 3 years now, and when I needed to open up a business account I was hopeful that SunTrust would accommodate those needs. They delivered. Tina, the branch manager went about and beyond. She was so incredible with helping me navigate the different world of business account banking. In my first weeks as a new business owner, Tina went the extra mile when I ran into an issue with a check. The teller could have just easily said, "Sorry about your luck" (which unfortunately happens a lot with customer service reps), but instead she offered for me to speak with Tina to see if she had a solution. Luckily, she did. The rest of the staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Lori is another employee who has also went above and beyond when issues arose with my personal checking account. She has been there for a long time, and has always been so helpful. I cannot recommend them enough.

I could not be happier with the buisness payroll/tax option they offer at Suntrust. I have had a personal account for years. I started a business and while attempting to handle taxes myself, I was uneasy because I am no tax expert. Even after buying tax software, I still didn't feel comfortable with handling business and employee taxes. Come to find out , for 50$ a month, they will handle it all including doing direct deposit for my employees. Darian, with the payroll dept. Has been an incredible help in explaining everything, making setup a breeze. I highly recommend using Suntrust/Truist for any personal or business needs! Lori, Ashley, and Tina at the 411 branch have always gone above and beyond especially while helping me navigate the new world of business finance.
