Management needs an overhaul. 4 employees just chatting it up in front of the paint desk at 10:45am not helping. I only note this because I am patiently waiting for a manager.Manager (Tiffany) was unable to respond to a request for help from my customer service cashier in a timely manner at a slow time (10:45am on a Wednesday in February). When she did respond, she was unhelpful.Randy, her manager (Store Manager), while polite and courteous, was equally unhelpful in resolving my issue.Lowe's return policy also needs an overhaul. I am a higher volume customer as a home remodeler. Naturally, at the end of a project there will be items needed to return. No receipt? A merchandise credit will be issued, which is fine. Eventually, though, you will be put on a "he's returned too much stuff without a receipt, so he must be a thief," no-more-returns-allowed list.To the "suits" at Lowe's: adjust your silly returns algorithm and empower your upper management to care for customers. Remember the most important thing in customer service is how your customers *feel* when they walk out the door. Let me give you a clue: you're not the only home store in town. If you think it wise to alienate me as a customer, you do so at your own peril.

The older lady to the right when you first walk in is rude and told my wife that somebody does work at the paint counter and they were on break the older white lady then smirked about it and went about her day as if my wife was no longer standing there. I could have sworn Lowe's was in the business of assisting customers and making money could have fooled me.

Tried calling to ask a question on if their plank saw was running. They hung up the phone the first time without even saying a word, then refused to pick up again after. Awful service.

Our home was crashed into in oct by a reckless driver. We needed every thing for the rebuild, and we were there picking out a new toilet. Kohler was the brand we chose, but American standard put up a good fight advertising that it could flush a bucket of golf balls. Kohler is what we have in our other bathroom so we wanted to match them up. Lowe's gives me a military discount of ten percent. We spend our money with companies that recognize military service.

We asked for help to get 3 heaters from the back around 5 pm. On a sat. Had several people ask if they could help, but we already had a manager and one other man helping. Manager came back after a few minutes and said the other guy will be out in about 4-5 min. With the heaters. We waited 10 more min. And then walked out without the heaters we needed. We were at the store for about 40 min. Total.

I fully understand that people don't want to work. So Self check is necessary, but why Germantown, why close off 4 self check out lanes on the Saturday before Christmas?
